What I want to know is this AT&T buyout of T-Mobile going to effect my job. I work in the Web and Telesales support department. Yes the ones you get when you call to check on your order, get a credit for shipping, or to exchange your new phone for a different one. 😉

Is AT&T going to get rid of our T-Mobile service reps and just keep their own? 👀 yeah, I'm worried sick, I need my job bad. I also have a T-Mobile dealer plan. It's an awesome deal that T-Mobile gives to it's employees. Is AT&T going to honor it? I have not heard good things of AT&T and I'm not happy about that change.

...to get someone to check a tower in your area? For the past 5 months the 3g coverage in my area has been horrible. Even at work I have problems with holding a 3g signal. I have checked the coverage map and according to the map I have good coverage. It hasn't even been a year yet and I will be on my 5th replacement device...this is ridiculous. Im fed up and ready to port my number back to Verizon. The only reason I left is because Verizon is so darn expensive. 🙄

I have a sprint postpaid acct , but I have a blackberry i would like to use for sms and data only. I do not want a a contract becuase i travel internationaly a lot and we will be using an Egyptian sim in the BB while roaming as my EVO wont roam (dang sprint) What I want to know is can I get a prepay tmobile number for my BB and be able to use sms and data only? AT&T wont support BB on prepay so i am hoping Tmobile will so I donr have to get ANOTHER dang contract. Also any one know the aprox. cost of the t-mobile service? Thanks for any answers

My wife is switching from Verizon to my T-mobile account so we can share minutes. She wants an old-technology phone since she only uses her cell phone for voice calls. She requires a small phone -- under 3.5oz and less than 0.6" thick. She likes the thin clamshell designs, but would consider a bar phone.

If you go in settings under keyboard & launguage & touch input you will see that their is a tutorial that actually shows the predictive text working. I just got off the phone with HTC & the tech support guy went through all of the settinngs & tried to text & he couldn't get it to work either. My anwer "Possibly it was included in the original software, but left out". This makes me mad because I need predictive text. The only prediction is in swype which I dislike. I may return the phone for this! BASICALLY PREDICTIVE TEXT IN THE QWERTY KEYBOARD IS NON-EXISTEN. I am considering switching to TMO from AT&T. I am interested in the MyTouch 4G phone. I have asked reps questions and keep getting different answers. I see there is a $70 prepaid plan with unlimited text/talk and 2G of data. Coming from AT&T they highest data allotment they over is 2G….so this plan is AMAZING. My question was, what is the major diff between being on a TMO prepaid vs Postpaid plan. With AT&T prepaid you ONLY have access to AT&T towers period. I am told TMO lets you roam and use gives you the EXACT same network access as on their postpaid plans. NOW another rep tells me on the new prepaid plans you do not get 4G or 3G access, you are restricted to the EDGE network (2G) . I hate 20 answers for the same question?...

Where are the Even More Plus Plans on the Tmobile Website?

A 3rd party retailer is offering free unlimited web & Email for a Blackberry with TMO.
Question is why is it free with a Blackberry OS 6 and they charge for say an Android phone? 😕
If I start out with the free data plan would I be able to swap SIM cards into a Android device and keep my free data package?

Samsung and Tmobile are being sued due to lack of froyo update on the Vibrant. Im guessing the Vibrant 4g is not helping.

Hey all-
Quick question I'm hoping to have answered, went to 2 T-Mobile stores and still not certain, also tried Google. I have the MyTouch 4G on an EM+ Plan, 500 mins, $59.99, my location is downtown Chicago. In my "about phone" settings, the network type used to indicate "HSPA+." I had a sim card issue with wifi calling and was sent an OTA update from tech support.

Ever since, the network type always indicates either "HSDPA" or "UMTS" and never "HSPA+." The store reps have told me that although the phone displays HSDPA/UMTS, it is still running at the "4g" speed / HSPA+ and that the network does it automatically if I am in a 4g area, which I obviously am.

This just doesn't make sense to me, am I missing something? The Samsung Tab o...

Have the new mytouch 4g. It only ever displays H and E. I know the E is for Edge. Is the "H" 4G or 3G? Or does 3G actually say "3G" like it does on at&t. If the H is 4 G, I am curoius why I NEVER EVER See 3G only 4G & EDGE?

Will it ever happen? Will I be forced to switch to Android?

i wanna know whats the easiest way to get android 2.2 froyo on and run as smooth as it can on a mytouch 3g slide?
