Hi all, my folks currently have Verizon, but they're thinking of switching to Metro PCS. They live in the Tampa area (Go Rays!) and they were wondering how the coverage compares. Do any of you know how good Metro PCS's coverage is in the general Tampa Bay area?

I just found out that where I work, metropcs comes in loud and clear!

Now I have to find a phone to use.

I am thinking about a Pocket PC phone. I'd like to get what is now known as a 'Professional' version with a touch screen and a slide out qwerty keyboard.

Or maybe a Nokia series 60 phone.

is it posible to use an unlocked cell phone or am I stuck with the ones that Metropcs sells?

My phone is a sliver and is compatible to do the flash metro..but i have some question about it. Will all the things i have on my phone be able to be transfered onto the new phone? for instance..My saved text messages and also pictures and contacts? I don't want to lose all that. Also is The sidekick ID able to do the flash thing??

now that this merger has happened between leap and metro pcs, what does this mean for the line on phones, any thing new coming out perhaps?? 🤨

Well I have been on the site for a while, and I love it best and informative the net as far as I'm concerned. I know we have alot of Metro employees and informed clientel, and I tryu to be as well, but I hope you can help.
One of the most consistent questions out there that I have read on this forum is "Any new Nokia's coming out?"
My question is anything AT ALL that is coming out in the near future (present to 6 months) will compare to the Nokia 6235i? I dont want an entry level or even mid level phone.
I have no problem paying the dollar amount, but I want quality.

Does anyone know what the SMTP is for the mail@metro feature? The smtp is isp specific, the incoming pop is the mail host but does anyone know what the outgoing is?

i saw all the phones they are capable of flashing but, do you think that they could do it for the new sidekick?

i was wondering if i could use a blackberry with metro pcs flash?i went on the metro pcs website and they have a list of phones u can use with the metro flash but the blackberry isnt listed.i was going to get it off of ebay is a older model i think its the first blackberry with color and bluetooth i forgot the model number

so i'm having a problem detecting those phones in houdini.
are there certain settings/options that i need to change on the phone, for it to allow to be detected?

If the information is correct the Nokia 3606 will be released and cost around $180 with a 1.3 MP Camera, MP3 Player, 10 hour battery life.. and my memory is vague on what else. What are you guys thinking of this phone versus the Samsung Messager and other MetroPCS phones in general?

So im currently trying to find out if there is going to be any new phones released in next 3-5 months that are gonna be new to metro. meaning $250 + price tag, i was told about 3 months ago metro was working on a phone like the moto Q but it wouldnt be out until xmas if at all, so my problem is this, i want a good phone but none of the crappy phones metro is offering, meaning i want a phone worth more then $250 lol, so anyone here with info about new phones coming out, please let me know or direct me, b/c im at point of almost wanting to go to another carrier, except i dont like high costs lol.

I just got the R450 and I'm completely new to the microSD memory card concept. (I'm into very simple basic phones) I'm not sure what will work?
