Re: Sprint LTE speed test renders 40mb/s results!!!
TheComputerMaster is a kid from San Antonio Tx. that has been caught up in A LOT of lies. I DON'T find that YouTube video as a reliable source. He made a confession on lying and closed his channel. I see he reopened his account on YouTube.
The world lost a GREAT human being.
God rest you sould Steve Jobs. You will be missed dearly.

Re: In other words.
Lol. Nice.
4G (WiMAX) iPhone or Blackberry
I think Sprint will announce a 1st 4G iPhone or Blackberry. Or LTE ruuning with WiMAX.
Re: Apple does this on purpose.
I'm sure they do. As long as they have their consumers buying, Apple will continue this practice.
Re: You should buy an iPhone!!!
Good thing I never paid for my iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPhone 3Gs.
Apple = iFail
iPhone launches, no 3G when 3G is available. iPhone 3G launches, no video camera, no iTunes/App downloading over network, no MMS, and copy & paste (at launch). iPhone 3Gs launches, has the specs that the iPhone 3G lacked. iPhone 4 launches, "Death Grip", no Adobe Flash, no FaceTime over network. iPad launches, no USB support, Adobe Flash, front/back facing camera(s), FaceTime, etc. iPhone 4 for Verizon Wireless has been announced, and it's CDMA only. No VoRA, and no 4G ...
cricKet to get iPhone 4 (flashed)

Here's some good reading. Enjoy.

Re: Clear will switch to LTE
WiMAX2, not WiMAX. Speeds are running 330 down.
Re: Clear will switch to LTE
You're right, but real world speeds should be around 200 Mbps (down)on WiMAX2 and can upgrade to TD-LTE, which has been proven to be up to 5 times faster than LTE.
Re: Too little, too late is right
Agreed. VZW and Sprint going VoRA seems backwards. VoRA would make sense for a carrier like cricKet. VZW and Sprint need to focus on their 4th generation networks.
Re: Lte 4G phone
Looking forward to MetroPCS to launch LTE. Can't wait to see what LTE, WiMAX2, and Sprint/Clear LTE have to offer on the 4G table.
TracFone FTW!
Re: BB Torch Apps
This is a "WHERE" thing. Can't blame at&t or Blackberry for this one.
No fan to cool down (like a cpu)
The HTC Evo has several radios (CDMA, 1xRTT, EvDO r0, rA, WiMAX, GPS, Blutooth) and a 1GHz processor. These radios and 1GHz will definately drain and work your 1500 mAh battery if in use or running in the background. Keep in mind, this is a phone is similar to a computer (with out a fan to cool your device).
Someone just got PWN'D.
:o Stands up applauding. WOW!
Re: Samsung Galaxy S Pro (Bada OS) coming to Sprint (4G)
The UI doesn't look like Andriod. Look real similar to Samaung's Bada OS. Plus the new GSM Galaxy phones are running Bada OS.
Samsung Galaxy S Pro (Bada OS) coming to Sprint (4G)
Don't think this is a Andriod OS. It looks like Samsung's Bada OS. The phone is stated to be another 4G (WiMAX) phone with front facing camera.
Re: Qik and tethering. (Evo)
You're welcome. 8)
Qik and tethering. (Evo)
No extra charge. 8)
sprint.com/ June 2nd
I'm surprised that no one's announced June, 2nd's announcement on sprint.com.
Re: The first in the 4G race now what?
.....and at&t will not allow tethering for the iPhone and still drop more calls in more places, T-Mobile will still be 3G, and Verizon will lower their data meter cap and charge more.
Re: The first in the 4G race now what?
Please state your resources on WiMAX2's "deployment by the END of NEXT year". Solid info and quotes will do, not hear say. Thank you.
Re: The first in the 4G race now what?
VZW also stated that LTE would be metered. By the time LTE is deployed, WiMAX 2 will be out. Faster speeds, and unlimited service.
iPhone OS 4.0
Tether fail.
Re: Dear Adobe,
Adobe Flash 10.1 will be running on Google's Android 2.2 Froyo OS, which I have to say it runs GREAT from the footage that I've seen. Apple's waiting for protocol to run HTML5. Wow! Flash is here alreay, and is more robust. Don't get me wrong, Apple is great, but never seems to get the picture. The 1st iPhone, running on a 2G network when 3G was available. No MMS, no copy and paste, no video, geez Apple. Now ...
Arrrrrrrrr
Who's ready to jump ship?
Re: Probably...
Guess we'll find out when the training is available.
Re: Probably...
mobile_trojan, how's it going? There will be an "4-G" requirement for the A9292 WiMAX (Evo) according to FDT.

mike1650, you may want to post this in the "phonescoop" forum. I'm sure the mods will close this post.
Clear, The 4G Take Over
Looking forward to Clears move. LTE and WiMAX with 1 company. :-)... I thought Clear was going to become an MVNO of Sprint when Clear launches thier 4G devices (phones).
Re: EVDO And/Or WIMAX On iDen Devices
Moto Optus1 or I1 will not be WiMAX.
Welcome to Google World Order

WebOS 1.4
Today is the official launch of Sprint's WebOS 1.4. The OTA update should be released this evening. Several fixes: time zone bug fixed network time sync bug fixed to reflect network time, Bluetooth car-kit transition to device corrected, no EV icon bug fixed (random), random browser formatted fixed, fixed bug that incorrectly displayed Sprint when actually was digital roaming, missing contact issue with swap down to 1.2.9.1 or less.
