Re: Having played with this new chocolate...
I guess some species of mint plant have a blue-ish hue, but not like the Blue Mint color of the Chocolate. I guess they just wanted a blue phone. People have been demanding a blue Chocolate.
Looking to get a job in the wireless industry
Hello everybody. I have a question. I want to work at a cell phone store. What is the youngest age that I could be hired? I'm 14 but I know tons about cell phones and really want to work in a store. The closest I got was Best Buy's wireless department at 16. Anything else?

You can activate iPhone on a Go Phone Pick Your Plan but not Pay as you go. PYP has the $20 iPhone feature that isn't available on PYG. However, you can only activate on PYP if credit issues arise during the initial activation (i.e. deposit). Also, you would have to get a new phone number, you cannot carry over an existing PYP number.
What about no credit? (I'm under 18)
What does pick your plan do? do i need a ...
Online purchases - Package =?
When you purchase the phone online, and they ship it to your address in a box, during the work day when no ones home, they drop it off. If the phone sits outside in the cold weather for hours, will it damage it? Thanks
Re: IN TXT
no i dont have a package. I was browsing the site today and i read "Call and TXT free with IN" and i thought it meant IN TXT was standard now. whatever. thanks
Re: BB 8703e or The Q???
Well the Q is $50 cheaper than the 8703e, plus its got a 1.3 mp camera and runs Windows. Since the 8703e was just released, I don't know anything about the signal, but the Q is a good phone. You should stick with it :)
IN TXT
is IN TXT standard now? Thats what it sounds like on the VZW website. Thanks.

the one thing that i have a problem with verizons phone nav feature is that what if you are in an area without verizon service. how does the nav feature work? the map database is on verizons servers, not your phone. i assume that it only works were verizon service is available.
good luck
hmm i never thought of that. And isn't that mostly when you use GPS: in the deep woods where there is no cell ...

It might be just me but when I played with a 9800 at the Verizon store, I didnt like the angle it opens at (either flat or a right angle)

Re: WATERPROOF IS A BOLD CLAIM
I walk around in the rain with my phone on the belt clip. Try the hot tub and see what happens :o
That Kyocera...
looked really cool! I wish it wasn't entry level cause that is one stylish phone!
Re: Best phone for texting???
so T9 is an old technology now?
Moto Q
If you just need the QWERTY than the 9800 or 9900. But if you are interested in the PDA side, the Motorola Q is an awesome phone. I probably will get it soon.
Re: I held a krzr
is the extra thickness compared to the RAZR noticable when you use the KRZR?
Re: Hahaha!
I have all the forums bookmarked in Favorites :)

The 3400 has NationalAccess.
Re: Nickname?

Yeah, but you still wont get those over 50 crowd that thinks Motorola is the top of the line because they have heard of them forever
true
Re: Quick Question
every LG phone should be built the same way as the 8300. They could easily take the whole market!
Re: ugly phone
i agree. I think kyocera's are very stylish. but i'd never buy one considering they suck :o
Re: Ugly?
I think thats an LED indicator light, not a screen.
Yah sanyo!

I'd recommend the software update from UTStarcom's site. www.utstar.com/pcd/Downloads.aspx
(choose your carrier)
The software update will make the OS run quicker and removes a lot of bugs plus gives you Voice Dialing/Activation!
Also save all your pictures to your memory card. Close out unwanted programs if you're not using them frequently. :)
Are you talking about the Q or the 8910? Because the 8910 has VAD and doesnt have a memory card.
(Nextel's) Backwards Holsters - I finally get the point!
It's so you can still use the holster even if you have an extended battery!
Re: Equipment Coverage
ok thanks
Re: Equipment Coverage
so which one is better?
Re: no memo option??
yes i believe thats true. But there must some some program that is a word processor on Handango. Should be, considering there are over 40,000 programs available for the Q.
Re: GREAT JUMPIN' JEHOSAPHAT!!!!!!
That's amazing!! I'm definately putting movies on my Q when I get it soon :)
Equipment Coverage
What is the difference between Total Equipment Coverage and Wireless Phone Protection?
also, question about belt clip
The belt clip that the Q comes with: Does the phone clip in facing backwards like a Blackberry or does it face forward like a regular phone?
