Some musics in my SD card don't show up :'(
Hello! I just got an Orange enV, I love it so far, but it's kinda weird becuase I put all my musics on my micro SD memory card, and some of the musics that I put there FOR SURE DO NOT SHOW UP ON THE PHONE! :(
I think phone is not recognizing those files at all. They're not on the music list on the phone, therefore I can't play some of them.
Is there any reason that might cause this? ...

I've seen and heard some news about it; it's EXTREMELY disappointing that LG's releasing the "BAR TYPE" Shine for US and regular slider type for Europe. I was definitely gonna get it if they were releasing the same version of European one, but I guess not...

The model# that is going to be released in Europe (UK) is called KE970.

I'm currently using VX8500 (slider Chocolate) and my mom will buy this phone sometime.
If my mom and I want to trade (switch) the phones (only the devices, not the numbers), how do I do it?
I don't feel like paying $40 each time the store activates for phones for me plus I don't want to drive there every time..
I've heard that if you do it by yourself on VZW website, it's free.
But I don't know how to ...

I agree. However, once I saw the real White Chocolate, I was somewhat disappointed. I expected the keypad light to be very clear and clean; but they weren't. They looked somewhat messed up a little bit and unclean. Also, the red nevigation lights looked very light for some reason; I don't know why, but the black one's light was clear and bold, but white Chocolate's nevigation red light was too light that it almost looked like it was dead ...

I have black one.. but I'm so jealous of the new White chocolate.. although I haven't seen the real one.
The thing is, I like everything else on black chocolate except for its keypad color. I expected it to be red, but it was white!!! HOW DISAPPOINTING... :(
But now, the white chocolate has RED keypad!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
that's the only thing I like about the white one... still ...

Voice recording time limit!
Hello!
I was trying to use the voice recording function
(menu -> Get it Now -> Get Tunes & Tones -> My Sounds -> 1. Record New)
but it seems like it has a time limit of 60 sec.
Are there any ways to ignore the time limit for voice recording? I really need this function and I like it, only it has that annoying 60 secs time limit... :(

yeah that's what I was thinking because I thought if you upgrade at home you break the warranty that VZW won't repair your phone anymore. Is it true???

okay well I got the BitPim and I converted all my cropped ringtone music files
and most of them were over 350kb...
The biggest one is about 480kb... :o
I know, scary, right? lol
anyways,
I put all of them in my phone,
and I tested out with the biggest one (30 sec, 480kb one)
and it works just fine!
But I was wondering...
You know, since I thought the maximum size of the ringtone was 300kb or 350kb,
I thought this MIGHT cause some problem ...

You know the thing that I found out though?
if I hold my phone like REAL REAL close right into my cheek/ear, I can hear my voice echoing with my real voice at the same time. (no delay)
but, if I hold it with a little space between my face and the phone, it is just fine. I don't hear myself at all. Even if I can, I don't recognize it at all.

When I call someone and talk with the Chocolate,
I hear myself on the phone.
What I mean by that is that I can hear my voice throughout the phone speaker. (There's no delay for my voice, so I'm hearing the exact same thing WITH my voice)
It's really annoying by now.. and I'm wondering if it's just mine or for everyone's phone...

any noise problem while playing music & multi tasking? PLEASE HELP!
okay well I've used Chocolate for about two days..
and so far I like it..
but here's one thing that I found today.
When I was listening to the music through it
and used the touch pads to txt msg my friend,
whenever I was touching the touch pads to control it, there were some little noises that bugged me. (kind of zz sound.. you know the noise. :D)
I thought it was because of the key sound..
so I turned it off.. and tried turning ...

I'm so happy with it and this is an ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS PHONE!! I totally love it so far and I got used to the touch pad since like in first five minutes. :)
okay well here's my lil question..
when I saw some pictures from the websites,
the numeric keypad's backlight color was RED.
So when you slide the phone to open it, the entire keypad (both touch pad and numeric keys) were lighted with RED color.

If you were in a situation that you would have to choose either Jabra BT620s or Motorola HT820 Bluetooth headset, which one would you choose?
I know the price ranges are pretty similar but I've heard people saying that BT620 is uncomfortable to wear and the ears hurt when you wear it for a long time, but I like the design of it. On the other hand, HT820 looks comfortable to wear but I don't like the design of it.

I have no problem using my phone (I'm not using a Chocolate YET) with reception in my area,
but when I went to Chicago, the reception was really poor.
I think it really depends on the service provider, not the phone.
Of course, there might be some little differences for the phones,
but I think the main point is the service provider.

I think that the definition of a "Speakerphone" is that you do not only hear the sound from the speaker but you also can say things through the speaker and the other person may hear what you're saying.

and I wonder, can't I just cut the MP3 file for less than 350kb, upload it to my micro SD card or phone memory, and then set it as a ringtone??
The directions are SO confusing and I really don't know what to do. :'(

there are three kinds of packages that VZW is selling from their website, (All the bundle packages are based on 2year contract)
$150 - ONLY the chocolate phone, nothing else.
$200 - Chocolate phone, Music Essential Kit (I think this kit includes the USB cable, earphones, and the Music trasfering program CD thing ...
