i have a holster for it and put the phone on it backwards (so that the screen is on the inside of the holster).. this keeps it out of my pockets (with the coins, keys, pens).
i had the silcon case over it for a day but it ruins the phones... everything. it looks weird, feels weird, and it isnt tight enough.
for me the holster works perfect, but for somebody whos in rough conditions the pouch might work the ...

i cant name that many phones that give you full functionality from the front screen either.
it varies from person to person if they like the look of the phone or not. I personally don't care what the phone looks like, as long as it looks nice. I noticed the guys seem to like this phone, while iwas at the Verizon ...

i didnt have that big of a problem, the only music that it gets a little distored hardrock kind of music. maybe the store got a bad batch?

they didnt cripple the bluetooth at all. the supported profiles on my phone r headset, handsfree, dialup network, stereo headset, phonebook access, basic printing, basic imaging, object push (send contact cards and the such), file transfer, and human interface (if u have a bluetooth keyboard)

im pretty sure u need to send them to urself after u put them on ur phone.
start up a new picture message and send a message to urself with that sound clip.. and wen u recieve it ull be able to set it as a ringtone.
Music player...
whats the deal with the music player not being able to be "minimized" so i can text or do w/e else while i listen to the music? does anybody know if this is going to be updated in a newer firmware or am i maybe missing an update to the music player?

it depends all on the plan u have. i have a total of 3 phones but i have any and every feature verizon offers so my bill comes to around 700 a month.. Its around 200 something a line to cancel, soo if i deactivated every phone on the spot it would still cost less than what i pay each month so it wouldnt be financially smart for them at all to let me go.

i actually got to play with this phone at a verizon booth in the mall saturday.. i was able to convince the guy to activate it for me and id pay him an extra $200 (i like being the first to have phones).. but then i found the ENV2 and liked it a lot more.
I'm not really a fan of touchscreens to begin with, mainly because i find nothing wrong with regular buttons and wen im dialing w/o looking, ...
LG Env2 service menu
I just got the new EnV2 Saturday and I heard about a "hack" to turn off the EV network to save battery life (i dont need VZ navigator/TV/music). I saw on another part of the forum that to get to it u had to type in ##program911 (##77647269100), but it hasnt worked for me.
any help with this would be greatly appreciated, ive tried over and over for the last 2 days

why isnt this working for me? I have the all black env2, tried this from the front screen, and then the inside screen.. Ive gotten to the service menu on all my other phones too so I don't think I'm doing something wrong. thanks for the help in advance
