What is it that is so great about this phone, and is Verizon really going to release it? I can;t even find anything on the Samsung site about this phone! Please help!

You won't find much about this or hear much as it has been delayed. It keeps failing tests and Samsung apparently hasn't fixed it all yet. It might be out by Christmas 🤣

No...I'm not joking. The Glyde has bombed out on some test and has been indefinitely delayed. The LG 9700 (or Dare) has been pushed to 3rd Quarter due to some delays in the testing. This phone is S W E E T though. Puts the voyager to shame.

I'll add my 2 cents. all 200 samsung reps are currently using glyde to give their final say on the tweeks that need to be done. launch date delayed from april to tentatively mid-end of may

I called customer service on saturday and got it on tuesday the phone is deffenetly out. I love everything but the touch screen is hard to get used to at first. Looks just like a mini iphone. Full Html browser, and 2.0 camera with flash. 😁

Yea....and? There is more video on VCast than on Mobile TV...like full episodes of TV shows and better clips. Mobile TV is nice but it isn't all that wonderous. And there isn't too much on usually.

we got our demo glyde in store ive been playin with it for 2 days now and i dont like it one bit. it feels cheap the qwerty keyboard is way to small the touch is more interactive then the voyager but from i been seeing not as responsive.call quality is good. browser is pretty good. navigating through the browser was a small hassle but with some time got used to it.6 out of 10 in my book not what i thought it would be.

i've played around with the phone also. i really dont like how the keyboard is set up on bit. the brower is good on the phone and i do like how it is smaller than the voyager. i think it will sell well

i actually got to play with this phone at a verizon booth in the mall saturday.. i was able to convince the guy to activate it for me and id pay him an extra $200 (i like being the first to have phones).. but then i found the ENV2 and liked it a lot more.
I'm not really a fan of touchscreens to begin with, mainly because i find nothing wrong with regular buttons and wen im dialing w/o looking, its impossible unles u can actually feel the buttons. the phone did seem to be a great step up in features compared to the voyager, but the keyboard was a lot more cramped and the top row of keyboard keys went a little to close to the side of the phone.

That vibes with what my feelings were the minute I saw a picture of it. The keyboard is too small...too close to the side of the phone. I went to the verizon store to play with similar keyboards and encountered that problem. The voyager keyboard works perfect in my small hands. I was torn between the two, but have a feeling I'll get the voyager once I check the glyde out tomorrow.
