Re: sooo what!
I guarantee the iPhone 1 gig processor is faster than your galaxy whatever. It's not just about the numbers it's how it functions. Plus the camera also has upgraded all parts. It's clearly better than any other phone camera on the market.
Re: sooo what!
What about the iPhone 4s, besides screen size, is lacking? Or I should say, "6 months behind"?
Re: Indeed
Hilarious, the close minded Android clone tells me to have any open mind. FYI I have a Mac, a PC, as well as Android and Apple phones. How's that for open mind?
Why would I cry to Apple dude? Are you delusional or just really stupid?
Re: Indeed
Mike, you are the reason I don't come to this site very often anymore.
Re: 1750 mAh Slim Extended Battery
I went back to the stock battery for today and it was quite a bit worse. It appears that I am either expecting too much or I have too many programs killing battery life.
Re: 1750 mAh Slim Extended Battery
Hmm, good to know. Perhaps I am dealing with another issue.
Re: 1750 mAh Slim Extended Battery
I haven't noticed a weight difference, it feels very similar. I hope this is just me, but I just don't know how to get more out of the battery. I barely use it and the battery is at 40% when I get off work.
1750 mAh Slim Extended Battery
I've had my 1750 mAh battery for about a week now, and I'm irritated to have to say this but it doesn't seem any better than the stock battery. I've gone through about 6-7 cycles and everything functions exactly the same as the other batter did.
I will probably send it back and stick with the original. I was hoping for some improvement, but doesn't seem to be working.
I'm sure it's also possible that i have something running that ...
Re: 1750 mAh battery
It may have just been lucky at first. The battery just wasn't showing too much of a difference.
I'm on my 2nd full charge of the 1750 batter right now. Yesterday it was not good, but so far today it's killing even with steady usage. Seidio did say I need to wait 5-6 full cycles to really see the difference, but so far so good.
I recommend buying this battery from Seidioonline.com, safe and reliable. I'll try to update again in ...
Re: Getting More Out of Your Battery
After a week or two testing this theory, it has been less and less of an impact. It may save me 10-15% at this point.
I just received my 1750 mAh battery which I know will help things quite a bit.
Re: Getting More Out of Your Battery
Could be, if you are in a poor coverage area and Verizon relies on other networks to get your signal, it could hurt that situation.
Re: Slim extended battery
Yeah the 1750 is available at Seidio, Androidcentral.com and even Amazon if you're willing to wait and get a better price.
Re: battery update
Excellent, glad it's working!
Of course, downloading the app "Advanced Task Killer" is always a huge help to kill all of your running apps.
My reception has also been a little suspect. Not sure what to think about that.
Re: Getting More Out of Your Battery
Today was my first day testing this new theory on a full charge. So far, 8 hours into my day I am noticing MAJOR improvements in battery life. Normally I'd be at 50% by now with fairly light usage and right now it's at like 85-90%.
Re: Speakin of lousy batterys...
Probably a little bit of both. Charging with a computer isn't a true power source I've heard.
Getting More Out of Your Battery
I found this on the Android forums, a little tip to help extend your battery life. They also have a Seidio 1750 extended battery for $50 that is apparently no thicker than the original. Here's the details on extended the stock battery.

From home...
Menu > Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks (second one) > Enable Always-On -- checked by default, I unchecked it.
It says in its description that it may cause battery drain 'on certain' networks.
Gentleman, I think ...
Re: SD Card....(Menno you there?)
Currently it's 16 gb.
Re: Notifications
Go into the settings for each thing you want to have a different sound. email, texting, work email, etc can all be different.
Re: The worst phone I ever got
worst post ever.
Reviews
I wish there was an IQ test before some of these guys did reviews. I also wish I could come here to get honest opinions about this phone and not ridiculous over reactions.
Re: Waited for new firmware and price drop
Would you mind sharing the coupon code used?
Re: CingularSUX
Sort of, but it's definitely not an upgrade to the curve.
Re: CingularSUX
Haha, thank you for that. I love it.
Re: CingularSUX
Huh? the guys name is "CingularSUX" I am not making any statements about Cingular.
The Bold is NOT an upgrade in the same line as the Curve, the javelin is an upgrade to the Curve. The Bold is "9000" for a reason.
CingularSUX
Your review makes no sense. Don't get me wrong, it's okay to not like the size of the phone, but you rank it a 2 out 5 ONLY because it's too big? The phone is a new line, it's not meant to be an upgrade to the curve, that's going to be the Javelin. You just made yourself irrelevant.
*Amendment
Apparently my phone only has a 2 megapixel camera, my bad.
Re: pepsijunky
Dang! Euphoria is right, I got tricked big time! I can't for the life of me figure out where I got 3.2 megapixels from....I even just posted that above again! I'm really sorry about that.
Bold vs iPhone 3G
I had the iPhone 3G for 5 months then switched to the Bold last week. I think deep down I am a crackberry addict even though I loved my iPhone. It makes it easy to switch when my iPhone goes for $540 on eBay, but so far the Bold has been stellar.
I like to compare the two as similar in a lot of ways, both have 3G, wifi, great color screens, speed, usability, GPS, maps, ...
Re: 2.1 Upgrade
You can't have 2 phones under the same profile, you need to separate it in itunes or windows. As far as I remember.
Re: SOunds like
That's exactly what a another shady salesman would say!
Re: ATT Wireless Cut off service prematurely / maliciously
I'm thinking he just blew it out of proportion like most wireless customers. He probably has almost no idea how it works which is surprising since 95% of people don't know.
Re: Don't believe the negative hype...
It makes you ridiculous that you don't realize you saying the signal sucks is an opinion. It's all relative, you are probably in a building or house that gets bad reception. That happens all the time. We have a strong 3g network here, my phone works well in my house, it does not work well at my work. That is the way it goes. I am happy because it is what it is.
Re: Don't believe the negative hype...
Actually, it is your opinion, the signal has been great for me and the battery life is as good or better for me than the old one. Saying something "sucks" is not a fact. You are ridiculous.
Re: ???? question here
It's cheaper if you had an eligibile upgrade, the old one is no longer for sale & it has the option of 3G. Are those enough reasons spaz?
Re: Don't believe the negative hype...
Dude you are clueless, you obviously don't know what an analogy is. The point is that you can use 3G when ever you want you just have to turn it on and off. For an HDTV that would be like turning the TV on and finding it was on ESPN regular definition, so then you pick up the controller and change the damn channel and KABAM! You're in business! Don't be ignorant.
Re: Don't believe the negative hype...
Thank you, my thoughts exactly.
Re: iPhone 3G
Some of your statements are opinions but some of your statements are so wrong that it's just idiotic. No one, and I mean no one, can say that Apple's marketing isn't good. It is the most impressive thing in Marketing since I don't even know when.
To cause this sort of uproar and frenzy over a wireless device is just plain genius. I'm pretty sure you don't even know what marketing means so I'll let ...
Amen
Seriously, well said.
Re: iPhone 3G
hahahahahah, good one dude! kool aid drinking iphone lover! You got me so good this time. It's like when my little brother used to call me a flat-faced buttsniffer because he learned from talking animals in a movie. Schlitter, you're so smart.
Re: iPhone 3G
you are dilusional.
