hold the home button down until the app disappears. i doubt it'll do much for your battery, though. try turning off 3G, location services, and wifi.

really?? really???? why the h*ll would you turn off 3g??? isnt that the purpose of a 3G iphone???why spend upwards of $350.00 to get the faster version if your going to turn off 3G, location services? then you should have just bought the original iPhone.... if not why spend hours in line to get it? this has to be the dumbest post i ave ever seen.

It's cheaper if you had an eligibile upgrade, the old one is no longer for sale & it has the option of 3G. Are those enough reasons spaz?
