V710 Exchange Site Problem

Yesterday I was able to login on to the exchange site and able to look at phones. Today I got this error: "We're sorry but you're not yet eligible for the New Every Two and the Equipment Upgrade promotions." Does anyone know what this means? I didn't buy anything yesterday because I wanted to wait and see how thigs played out. But now it wont work. Fustrating!!

I am a frustrated v710 user and I felt that verizon was redeeming themselves with this phone. Ready to forgive and forget. But if the are going to pull the same bull sh#%, and disable functions again, I think I am going to leave them and go to another carrier. Their greediness is getting too ridiculous.

OBEX meaning the object exchange profile for bluetooth. The bluetooth profile that allows you to send thinks such as pictures, audio files and contacts to other bluetooth devices.

Awesome, I hope that happens. I have the v710 right now and I am not happy with the bluetooth capabilities, especially when I play with my brothers v551 for cingular. But I have to get rid of it (do to the camera) when I start my new job this summer and I am looking forward to getting the sch-i730. It is because I hate to constantly wear an earpeice. But before when you took it off, you never knew anyone was calling. I use a BT speaker in my truck now, so I don't really need the ringer on the phone, because the speaker makes noise, but sometimes the speaker will just "F@#$ Up" and the connection will drop and then I have to fish for my phone in my pocket while I'm driving. When you answer the phone, hit the menu button and there will be an option to disconnect from bluetooth during the call. The audio will then switch back to the phone. I have a BT speaker in my truck and the samething happens to me too.

I thought I read in the news article on this site that stated the i730 coming out this year would have a MP Camera, but the i830 coming out next year would not. But I might be wrong. The reason I asked is because I read other articles on other sites that said verizon might release the i730 with and without a camera sometime during the 2nd quarter. Don't worry about it, I knew what you meant. I guess I'll have to get used to it. Why do you think they changed it to be that way. Also, I find now that I miss more calls that go directly to voicemail even when I have full service. It is a problem because I find it very aggravating at night especially when I am driving. I keep the phone clipped on my truck visor to allow me to see who is calling easily and to use the speaker phone. But now that the LCD stays on it is distracting and annoying. Is this occurrence common with the SD flash and is there a way to disable it? Thank you.

After I flashed my phone with the SD firmware, I notice that my LCD remains on (dimmed) when I have the charger plugged into the phone. Has anyone else experienced this problem or no how to fix it? Thanks

Make sure you connect as the v710m. You cant use the multimedia center with just the v710 profile.

I recieved my usb data cable in today so I flashed my phone with the new SD firmware. Everything went great and worked well with MPT but it took me 10 minutes to transfer a standard MP3 file to my phone. My younger brother and sister got v551 for christmas from cingular and they can transfer files via MPT bluetooth almost 10 times faster. Now I realize that the v551 has the OBEX profile and the ...
