Audio when Bluetooth connected

M3PO

I just got my 710 replaced and the new one has the new firmware.
I ran into something that had me guessing for a few minutes and thought I would share it. I also wanted to ask if all headsets operate in the following way or if it is only the Jabra 250?
Now that the phone rings along with the headset, I sometimes drop the headset into my shirt pocket. I forgot it was there and had several calls today that I answered on the phone. It rang, I answered, and no one was there?? 😕
I figured out after about the 4th call that there is no audio on the phone when the headset is active, even when it is in my shirt pocket. 🤭 Actually had it happen once today when the headset was in the car and I was standing outside the car.
Makes sense once ...

Yeah, I do that all the time!! 🤣

Also a pain is when I'm using the HS and the phone displays "BT headset signal weak". With no notification to the HS--just the sound of silence--it takes me a while to figure what's wrong.

Of course the phone is 20 feet away so the display doesn't do me much good! 😢

When you answer the phone, hit the menu button and there will be an option to disconnect from bluetooth during the call. The audio will then switch back to the phone. I have a BT speaker in my truck and the samething happens to me too.

Good to know. I will try it next time I forge the headset is on.😉
This whole thing was never an issue until the new FW when the phone rings as well as the headset. Before if I forgot, I just did not hear the call and it went to VM. Guess the phone ringing while BT is connected is a mixed blessing 🤣

It is because I hate to constantly wear an earpeice. But before when you took it off, you never knew anyone was calling. I use a BT speaker in my truck now, so I don't really need the ringer on the phone, because the speaker makes noise, but sometimes the speaker will just "F@#$ Up" and the connection will drop and then I have to fish for my phone in my pocket while I'm driving. That can be annoying, I don't think the technology is totally developed yet. It still has two many bugs, especially with this phone.
