Like I said the date is coming and we are not sure how things will work 100% at this point. My comment before is based on what I understand at this point. But nothing follows. Cingular has every interest to please all, within limits of commiting corporate suicide if you know what I mean.

They know based on serial number if it is in warranty or not. Second of all if it is not in warranty or the old phone is not returned with in 14 days of reciept of new phone( and the date are tracked) then the customer will be charged the one year price on the new phone not the full retail value. And XBM does not cover batteries. This can be worked out at no cost to the cust ...

You are over looking the fact that whether it be TDMA or Gsm the Customer wanted no contract in order to port. UUUUMMMMM Tdma or GSM? Contract on GSM? that sounds like discrimination to me. I contract is a contract reguardless of technology. Or no contract for that matter.

AT&T customers will be treated very fairly and thier service will not change unless the choose to move to Cingular. But the active selling of new plans for AT&T will cease to exist but not the current plans the AT&T customers are already in if they are happy were they are they are more than welcome to stay there. I have heard nothing different yet on this subject. We will care as much about our new customers as well ...

i am sorry about your wifes passing and your troubles. Here is they way we would handle that situation.Cingular based on conection with the lawyer handling your wifes passing would have aloud you to chage it over to your name. Mind you this would have taken time and effort on your part. The new owner of the account assumes phones rate plans and CURRENT contracts. Being you where out of contract then the new owner would remain that way until ...

Be clear on this it is not a merger it is an aquisition. The day the checks drop AT&T will be owned by Cingular and thing will be run the Cingular way. () days or so after that the AT&T name will be returned to AT&T corp. And AT&T wireless will be no more.

Your answer is no you can stay on a month to month basis. I have seen customers out of contract for ...well the last one I saw was no lie 10 years. I have heard of some carries extending your contract with out you knowing. Now I have seen nothing in writing on this I have heard this story to many times not to believe it . Cingulars rule is we will not ask you for a new contract ...

Hi, No the sim will only work will Cingular based on it is programed by us. As for the phone you can buy the phone any place you like as long as it is a Cingular phone. I say this because we roam with two carries > T-Mobile and AT&T. T-mobile will only release the unlock codes for thier phone after 90 days of service with them and AT&T will never release the codes not even in return for ...

Being a Cingular Rep I can tell you that you do have the right to remain in contract or not. Cingular does not, so to speak, auto-extend your contract apon completion like some other carriers may. I do understand your need for bluetooth and applaued you for wanting that technology. However you must understand that Cingular goes through strict testing before our products are released. The V600 was a great peice of technology and was loved by many and ...
