:paranoid: My paperwork was delivered to the Administrator almost 2 months ago, now. When I returned the first group of paperwork I was still with Verizon. Since then, I have moved to another provider. When I returned the 2nd set of paperwork, I included a letter explaining that I was no longer a VZW customer, and included a copy of the bill with the early term fee on it. Do you think I am going to get my ...

Another downside to this phone is that fact that you can no longer access the "Dial Up Network". I used my V710 to connect to my Zire72 for the web and e-mail with attachments. My PDA would dial the #777 number and get me on line. With the new phone you can do that. At the same time, some of the newer features are pretty cool. I love the update to voice dialing. The camera is a nice improvement. ...

8O Just got a new issue of Vital Man magazine and there is a little blurb about the Motorola MPx. The look is different than the pics I have seen so far. It is layout more like the OGO. It is pretty sweet looking. I hope they can roll this one out soon. They describe it as "The Hummer of the latest generation of PDA's...a little bulky but has more than enough power to get the job done. It ...

After giving the V710 a try I am back to my LG VX6000. Is there a way to convert an MP3 file into a format that this phone can read so that it can be used as a ring tone? I tried the method I used on the V710, by turning it into a .mid file, but the phone would not recognize it. Any tips would be very much appreciated.

Re: SERIOUS BUG!! Battery warning BEEPS even when in vibrate or silent mode!

Had the same problem. The thing is each ring level (Loud, Soft, Vibrate, Silent, etc.) has it's own setting. You have to go through each one and specify what you want to happen in that mode. Yo get there by going to Main Menu...settings...Ring Styles. I have never had that issue with any other unit I have owned, but do sort of like it.

Go to the phonebook. Scroll through the list. If you are using the navigation pad you really don't have to look at the phone. Put the speak on and you don't even need the headset! Give it a go! You'll like it!

You have to have Phonebook set to "Voice".

The advantage to this feature is you can simply say the name of the contact without having to record it. In other words, when you store Sally Smith in your phonebook, you do not have to then take another step to record her name so that you can voice dial her. You can simply his the side button, say "Name Dial" then when prompted say, "Sally Smith". If you have several numbers in there for her it asks which ...

Bluetooth is the only reason I hunted this thing down! Since I am having problems getting it up and running, I am a little disappointed. But once that is working, I will be VERY happy with the purchase.

There are a few snags I am trying to work out, but that is the fun part of new equipment. The reception is the best I have ever had. I can get full signal in spots that I used to get NOTHING! It is a very interesting phone.

Try searching under SanDisk. The card is really small. But buying one that comes with the adaptor seems like the best way to go.

Any ideas on getting the dialer or Tap to Connect to work? It dials the number, rings once and then disconnects. This is driving me CRAZY! 8O S
