They're not going to, nor were meant to be. They're made for densely populated areas (football stadiums) etc... They of course can use boosters or repeaters, but in general the higher frequencies are for more capacity and speeds. You'll see them outdoors and if in buildings they'll install equipment in them.

You actually can though - that is if you know anything about law. Just like you can either file your own taxes, or pay someone hundreds, if not thousands to do them for you. I know plenty of people who do their own business taxes and skip paying THOUSANDS to have someone else do them. Yes, it does cost money to patent stuff - but it's not anywhere near what people claim. Yeah, I would, which is why I'm coming up with thousands of BS ones until someone's uses a hint of it. I'll send a few legal letters and not really cooperate. Then I'll finally wait until I get my mega-millions. Who needs a 401k? Patents baby.

This appears to be the fastest way to get rich. Discover something that didn't cost you anywhere near what you're awarded and just ride it out in style. Can I just get away with oxygen and sue everyone on Earth? I'll just patent everything available and wait for someone to use it by dumb luck.

With cases existing that do everything this phone does and more, I don't understand throwing $400 at a mediocre phone. Why not get a much better one and a Lifeproof (or similar) case? I really think there are too many Android phones that serve no purpose, other than trumped up notions of 'choice'. Only a select few actually sell worth a damn, while the rest collect dust. I wonder how much money it costs carriers to stock these ...

Okay. I said Apple should pay them fairly. What didn't I cover? I didn't give Apple a free pass - you're acting like a biased fanboy, and or hater of Apple. They're amazing at taking current ideas and technology - implementing them to a vast majority of consumers. If 'WARF' was so amazing, they would've used this scientific technology, or shared it to others. What it amounts to, is you're pissed off that someone used something and made a ...

Christ - I concur with the notion they should be paid. I've said it since my first post. If some nobodies aren't going to use or take advantage of a patent, let someone use it and just pay them. For all the good patents can do, they also hinder. Think of medicine. Do you know how expensive and unaffordable they make those drugs with just pure greed and profit in mind, when some could save countless lives. And before ...

Yes, autocorrect does things. If you read fast it wouldn't occur to you based on the context - but it appears you read like a 5th grade child. I'm saying REAL scientists that care about progress for mankind don't hinder others from progression - they share their ideas and inventions. It's called science. I actually have a brilliant idea - I'm going to make a few calls and see if Apple and Fisher-Price can collaborate on a phone; one not only for adults, but one that can be placed in the Walmart toy isle - on the box, it'll read 'Age infant-hospice' - this way we can forget the notion of any intelligence whatsoever and focus on making sure even the most dimwitted homosapian never runs into problems. Yeah, pretty much. Counteracts gravity with greater force, so it flys. Boats float, and just as easily sink. Good point I suppose? Want to go in that sub down there? Yeah, please GoPro your head exploding please. Yeah, let's take you down into the Mariana Trench and see just how 'waterproof' you are then wise one. It's resistant - even a frickin' watch for diving has common sense to use that terminology. Nothing we have is impervious to water - hence its not 'waterproof', it is 'resistant' until certain conditions break that resistance - such as the life proof case - merely, again, just going too deep compromises that one. I digress on that one. Why ...
