Don’t like App Store
Don’t like the App Store switch to Google Android. I’d prefer to let Apple keep things as they are.
not enough data
If I'm gonna take a survey and waste my time for they're benefit they should offer 500mb!
Re: Decent Deal, but..
Its just an eye catcher to get you in the store, Sprint is really desperate and doesn't want to be #4.
Verizon??
always trying to screw the customer, glad I left! :o
Switch to cricket if theres a problem
switch to cricket same coverage, up to 8mbps lte/hspa taxes included.

I don't see this going through. Lots of things against it. Sprint has way too much spectrum anyway. 200MHz worth. I don't see the government allowing one wireless provider to have 270Mhz of spectrum. Just not gonna happen
That and the FCC and FTC and Dept of Justice are already telling Sprint this deal is very unlikely to happen. Also the Government isn't in favor of only major carriers with one being majority foreign owned.
Re: Tmobile about to be richer
T-Mobile recently said they were planning on upgrading all the edge coverage areas to 4G, I believe they said 4G LTE in the next year. I've had all the major carriers service except AT&T. T-Mobile work good for me except for a small percentage of the time that I might travel to a real rural area. having mainly Sprint 3G around my house, is like having edge those very few times I travel out into rural areas.
Re: PLEASE GOD NO
Sprint's network vision is a lie to try and keep customers to wait for something that will never happen. LTE 4G speeds average 1-4mbps on Sprint. in my area T-Mobile averages 15-31mbps. I have to beg the dept of justice to please block this merger.
Re: "can't compete" nonsense
Sprint gots greed in its eyes, to gain spectrum they don't know how to use. I recently left Sprint for T-Mobile. I have better voice and data coverage by my house. We can't get cable or DSL at my house so I use a T-Mobile Hotspot. I also use my iPhone to stream Netflix so I have unlimited un-throttled internet, something Sprint can't keep theyre promise on. I personally don't want to see Sprint merge with T-Mobile.
Dan Hesse trying to get John Legere under control
Softbank and Dan Hesse want to get t-mobiles ceo under control. This buyout would be just as big of a disaster as the sprint buy out of nextel! I agree, we need to have atleast 4 national carriers to keep prices competitive.
Re: This is getting out of hand!
Crest will probably take a 25% buyout from Dish, which we all know Dish has no funds to make investments and will be riding the Sprint Softbank upgrades to spectrum!
take the money
Take the money clearwire investors or watch your crappy investment go bankrupt. Theres already a couple pending law suites pending against clearwire's ponzy scheme.
why finance clearwire
Sprint needs to cut clearwire off and choke them, stupid investors have their head in their rear on what they think clearwire is worth, if sprint quit pouring financial assistance in clearwire it would cease to exist
Re: Greed
yup, this needs to happen otherwise clearwire will fall apart with the pending lawsuits concerning clearwires false advertising, and severe throttling!
Re: This plan is not Unlimited
I finally just left Verizon Wireless. I give them props they have an extremely fast network but it was getting to the point I couldnt afford $100+ a month. I agree that page plus needs to rebrand their plan as unlimited talk, text + 5gb data. I hate when companies try to misslead people that don't read the fine print.
Re: HAHAHAHAHA
You buy a cellphone you should be able to do whatever you want to it. I buy a pc, I can put linux, windows 2000 or whatever I want. I can also download programs from cnet's download.com Once I purchase the device the carrier no longer owns the device, Steve Jobs no longer owns the device. Greedy bastards! I laugh at verizons new shared data commercials. Sounds so good til that get to 1 bucket of sharable data.
Re: Ahem!
Yeah Verizon new move has motivated me to upgrade a lot more often and keep current phones at full retail price. I sale my phone while I can still get half of full retail value. If verizon goes as far to change my plan on their own i will get a galaxy nexus unlocked and then get straight talk sim!
I'm Tired of this SH*T!
Judges need to rule that any patent related to smartphone/tablet data or email relay falls under FRAN and all these nonsense law suites need to disappear and be worked out at a reasonable price!
Re: what the overages look like....
overages will probably be $20 per mb
Re: "shared data (up to 10 devices) starts at $50 per month for 1GB"
The CFO of verizon did assure investors that customers would spend more money! The people that thought these family data plans would be truly beneficial to the consumer are idiots. They tack on a line access fee per device ranging from $10-$40, they lock you into a etf contract per device at $350 per smartphone, tablet, hotspot. With plans like this I will Gladly pay full retail price on my next phone!
Verizon Throttling 4G
Both me & my friend are having our 4g speeds throttled by verizon. We live just south of Atlanta anfd the past couple of months have used 20 gigs of data. I pay for the mobile hotspot option.
EU shouldn't help Apple
Apple you have dug your own grave and should have to deal with the same nonsense your putting all your competitors through.
apple gets what they deserve
Sweet so google will inherit patents that Motorola has and Apple wants to license!
Re: Go pound salt AT&T
Really AT&T you have no plans on increasing dsl coverage where I live but you want to sabotage someone elses work that your compitition that could make my life better. What a Lazy loser you are!
Re: Apple sure is a dirty player
I love it, Apple is getting what it deserves for starting this patent war. I wish the ITC would block apple from importing new iPhones and iPads!
Re: unlimited 4g
:D I agree 4G lte through VZW is awesome!
Re: this contradicts something
I'm glad to see acdc you know stuff when it comes to wireless companies. Your right, they realize that can't gauge people off of minutes anymore so now there going for data which can be pretty unpredictable. Thankfully At&t is adding more free public wifi spots, but in the future I see at&t charging $10 a month for unlimited hot spot. Comcast & At&t has put data limits on your resident internet so they force you to buy movie ...
Re: So there may be hope.
When mergers happen people get laid off. Congress is lobbied and bribed by at&t and T-mobile to make this go through and it will go through but alot of people will lose their jobs. at&t and tmobile customers will be complaining about long waits on customer service hold. At&t is just wanting to be the bad *ss in control.
Re: Good Thing for Root and other OS'
Its not the customers that hack the free hotspot feature and hack wired tethering causing these data caps. If you look at all the carrier options for unlimited minutes, carrier can no longer gauge you on minutes and want more ways to gauge you for more than you pay. Data is an unpredictable feature on your account based on how much email docs you download, music, facebook updates ect.. Data is the new overage to gauge your bill. Yes ...
