In light of Mr. Jobs death...
I'm done with the Apple bashing on this forum. It was fun while it lasted but it's getting old.
Whether you loved or hated him, there is simply no denying that Steve Jobs was an impressionable figure. He helped turn Apple around and made it into what it is today. You got to give the man credit where credit is due. I'll confess to having a love/hate relationship with Apple.
Having said that, I'm retiring this name on here. ...

What good it 4G if you have a phone that will only last 3-4 hours using it?
Stop making excuses for them. Cause some of my friends are amount the deepest Apple fans out there (they own everything Apple) and even they're pissed! So stop acting like you're not just to validate yourself among Android users.
Secondly, if Apple were as innovative as they say they are, they would have found a way to overcome to the battery life issues ...
FAIL
I'm actually shocked at Apple for this.

What do you mean half-baked LTE support. Droid Charge has LTE, blazzzing fast speeds too.
Don't pay attention this clown. She's just here to troll cause of the iPhone announcement. Ignore.
Not even the iPhone can save Sprint

Re: Oh how the mighty Napster has fallen!
That's what happens when the MAFIAA come after you.
Coverage Coverage Coverage
T-Mobile does lure in the customer with the nice phones but once they see how crappy the coverage is it's adios T-Mo! That's why they have such high churn. Phones are nice, rate plans are low and customer service is great.
Coverage is good in major cities and data speeds even rival Sprint's WiMAX at times considering it's only HSPA+. But the problem is when they outside the city T-Mo's coverage begins to get spotty. If T-Mo had the ...
SamSUCK actually got it right!
Color me impressed!!!! Cause 800x480 resolution on a 4.5" screen is just retarded. This phone is the future. It would really sell on Verizon no question about it.
Oh brother
I hate Apple as much as the next guy but come on. Is this the thing now when a company can't innovate? Ridiculous

Exactly and I'm not saying it because she's a woman. I'm saying it because of the kind of person she is.
Incompatible technology and garage 2.5GHz spectrum
What makes Clear think AT&T and Verizon would want it

webOS is good, yes but...
No one wants it. It's not the hardware. NO ONE CARES. There just wasn't enough room in an already crowded market to compete. What is it that you people can't comprehend??? Sprint and Palm. Two loser companies put together don't make a win. You have understand this from a business perspective.
Windows Phone 7 was on phones with 1Ghz processors and big a$$ 4.3" screens and it was still a hard sell. The Pre was released at a time ...
lol like anyone would want it
 Stupid SamSUCK
CDMA only
FAIL
lol Sprint should be privileged to have a customer these days
But whatever. 14 days is more than sufficient to figure out Sprint sucks.

Re: Thank You Big Red
Now all they have to do is realize people don't want to pay an extra $100 for a smartphone all because it has LTE in it.
iPhone 5
That's the "unexpected circumstances"

sucks horribly because the Facebook developers are awful.
Are you serious??? If you think the iOS Facebook app is poor you should try Android.
The problem with Motorolas
Crappy pentile screens and mediocre cameras. That's the only thing that prevents me from buying them. Other than that I'm sure this bad boy will have solid reception, call quality and battery life. At least they toned down what used to be called blur so that's a step in the right direction.

True. Sarcasm 101 isn't the class you need to take. It's Trolling 101.
Yup and Cook is also gay....
So Tim Cook and bluecoyote can most certainly get it on now!

Are you serious? Do you realize why we have antitrust laws in place? Because historically when companies were allowed to procede unregulated we ran into issues. It's not that difficult to understand, read up on economics and history. Geez!
You're living in the past. This is 2011. It's a different America. A different world

WP7's UI is pretty nice and certainly different. It's a helluva gamble but I wouldn't count it out.
Android sat and rotted for its first year on the market, and despite high device sales, it's a pretty tepid ecosystem and it's viewed as an also-ran by most developers. Don't believe me? Look how many Android apps are garbage compared to their iOS equivalents. (Twitter, Pandora, Rdio, Foursquare, Yelp, Skype, among others...) What's going to make or break a ...

I agree whole-heartedly. I have been waiting for someone to PROVE to me, how competetion is going to suffer for other carriers! As of yet I have seen no facts to convince me. If this were verizon, or sprint, tmo would have already have been purchased, end of discussion.
Exactly. I'm as liberal as they come but business is business. It's the American way and it's been this way since the beginning. Business are created for one reason is ...

I remember being in the retail stores and WP7 was bashed. Then MS kept assuring us "wait for mango, wait for mango" Well, mango is here, and people still won't sell this thing. WP is just missing "it" - there's no buzz, no excitement, NO WOW FACTOR.
WP7's UI is the most boring I've ever seen. Even iOS with just icons all over the screen looks better. The market is overcrowded now anyway. webOS is far superior and even ...
Re: T-Mobile going "belly up"
Sprint is a mess. Very poorly run company. Bad marketing, bad customer service. They have a history of abandoning technologies and making bad business decisions. Plus they're a CDMA carrier - Yuck! Totally not in the best interest of T-Mo subscribers.

No, DT could spin off T-Mobile USA, or sell it to some group of investors. Or perhaps Sprint. T-Mobile won't just evaporate. The assets are worth way too much.
I can only hope Rich. You know what honestly. Lnog as Sprint has nothing to do with it, I'm completely fine with whatever happens to T-Mo. Just stay away from Sprint.
mean to say party POOPER
Not popper lmao
Not to be a party popper but...
DT still doesn't want T-Mo and this doesn't mean that the deal won't go through. AT&T has plenty tricks up it's sleeve. Plus, the DOJ also did this to the Google ITA deal then approved it after Google agreed to certain restrictions. So I wouldn't be celebrating just yet. Even if it's blocked, we could still face the possibility if losing our beloved T-Mo. Worst case scenario would be to carrier like Sprint. That would be catastrophic.

No, I meant what I said, I think the 4.5" Super Amoled screen made of Gorilla Glass. Is freaking gorgeous .... I just can't bring myself to invest in and own a Samsung Android.
Save yourself the trouble, It ain't worth it. TouchPISS and lack of support are deal breakers for me. Don't be fooled by the pretty screens.
The Infuse on AT&T is still stuck on Froyo. I mean seriously, SamSUCK???

Yes. At one point in my life years ago, I did cherish the Apple brand.
But those days are gone. For a corporation to rise from near extinction to one of the most richest in the world in only four years, can only lead to speculation that they charge far more and offer less for products than everyone else. So if I'm going to pay more for their product, then I expect to be able to do more and ...
Who cares it's a SamSUCK!
I really don't know why everyone is going ape $hit over this phone. It's a SamSUCK!!!! You know? The company that builds phones out of cheap plasticky material, uses TouchPISS for it's UI and takes forever to come out with updates, remember????
Get the Bionic or just wait for the Vigor. Don't be fooled by the pretty screen. That's all there is to a SamSUCK device. Gurantee this phone has a $hit load of issues just waiting to ...
Apple will be fine
They always are. Jobs is only one person and he deserves credit for what he did but there are many behind the success of Apple as well. He's been preparing Tim Cook for this day for years.
My handle may say otherwise but I kinda like Apple. Sure many of you hate them but you gotta admit, they keep the competition on their toes. It's not a bad thing
No LTE = FAIL
Just saying

RIM just doesn't get it.
