the HTC HD2 runs ubuntu on it and everything works. right now iv read that the HD2 runs it the best but there are a few others that can also run it on the phone. the best way it just run it off a thumb drive on a computer because using a touch screen to navigate the OS on a small screen kinda sucks.

sprint vision!!
sprint is changing their network to improve the coverage by 117% by the end of 2012. they are going to use the nextel spectrum along with there current cdma network to make new devices that will use all three networks and the tower will switch to these differnt networks depending on what kind of area the phone is in. this is true just had a training on it.

you will need to get the phone rooted. superoneclick may work for your devices if not you may have to learn ADB commands and do it that way.
now the phone is rooted you will have an aplication called superuser that with gives other apps the ability to use the root of your phone.

Apple has only been in the game for a short wile when it comes to mobile phones but has managed to be on top of the game. i read alot of the posts on here and there are people that just seam to hate apple for this or that.

ok there are two premiar levels silver and gold. the only way to be gold is to be a customer for 10 years+. gold level is the only level that gets upgrades every 12 months. silver level gets upgrade every 22 months there is nothing you can do. im looking at the policy right now so there is no more debate.

i hate sence too. stock android is much better and faster than having all those extra programs running.
root your phone and flash clockwork mod recovery to it. then download a custom rom that dose not have sence added to it. there you go and you also get free hotspot.

actualy that applies to all devices the lg optimus s has a glitch in the software that alows hotspot to be activated via a widget. hotspot is avalible through sprint for that phone for 30$ a month. may i ask what software vierson you are on because this is what makes the difference.they fixed it on the software release on feb 7th

dude if htc could make products thatr worked all the time and never miss than there would be htc zombies but apple takes the time to make a great product. thats why apple zombies are the way they are. i have had an iphone and now have and htc and let me tell you, both are good but i had a much better experince with the iphone.

i have the htc hd2 and as a windows phone it dose suck....bad. but after slapping android on it it would have to be one of the best phones out. current specs are as follows.
2.3 gingerbread
overclocked to 1.5 ghz
free wifi tethering
full flash support
great battery life is great now.
hspa 7.2 (fast data)
yes stock its ragged but now i will not need to upgrade for a wile.

well i can tell you they are great to hack and put your own operating system on them because once you do that everything works great. i have an htc hd2 with android 2.3 and it runs much better than windows mobile ever did.
HTC HD2 NOW RUNNING 2.3 FROM NAND
i have now completley removed windows mobile from my phone. i run stock android 2.3 from the nand. this phone will now do everything it was ment to do.
has anyone els been able to do this with there hd2?
