Well this is good news for us legacy unlimited data folks. I'm planning on getting a tablet. The vast majority of the time I will use widely available free WiFi. But there are some places (cough , cough Las Vegas hotels, and other high end hotels etc....) want to charge you anywhere from $9.00 to $29.00 a day for the privilege of using their WiFi. Well I check one out today at my local verizon store and was totally not impressed. The screen is dull and very unresponsive made typing difficult and the text prediction crud kept C*ck blocking basic typing I gave up after 5 min of tinkering with the phone. My current phone is a two year old lg evn touch which I like.. I want to like this phone...unless the store phone was broken I think this is going to be ...

Yes you can buy a unlock gsm rim from hong kong or europe but It will be insainely expensive (I'd bet 1000.00 range) plus you hope that sofeware download (of att's service settings,etc....) goes right and doesnt brick the grey market phone. Hmmm not so much. :(

easy verizon grossly over hype the v710 release and verizon lied that the phone was fully bleutooth enable. The problem was in verizon v710 early firmware the bluetooth was so cripple it didnt even work blurtooth headset.
