It seems like AT&T is coming out with a new phone every freaking week! They're obviously trying to take full advantage of being a GSM carrier and pump new phones out as quickly as possible since it's cheaper than it is for VZW or Sprint. I think their ploy is to have a phone that fits pretty much anyone; if you're selective, you'll go to AT&T because they have the biggest selection.

I don't even like AT&T that much, but I find myself looking into them because of all the phones, the sim card and the fact that they have better coverage than T-Mobile in my area. VZW still has better coverage, which is why I stick with them (they also have excellent customer service in my experience), but AT&T is surely creeping up on them!

they are really just playing catchup. verizon already has several qwerty phones (alias, env2, voyager, samsung glyde)

Att was a little behind in this regard with their selection. Att should be worried about fixing their sub par network. who cares about phones when you call quality is garbage and your 3G network is laughable when compared to verizon or....dare I say it....sprint.

just my two cents

ummmm....vodaphone is getting the phone in Europe buddy, and yes you will be able to get one of those unlocked for GSM use.

Also, there might be a way to use another companies SIM in the Verizon storm, just depends on how much they lock that down. The storm will have all the radios to work on US GSM networks

Yes you can buy a unlock gsm rim from hong kong or europe but It will be insainely expensive (I'd bet 1000.00 range) plus you hope that sofeware download (of att's service settings,etc....) goes right and doesnt brick the grey market phone. Hmmm not so much. ☹️
