LG enV VX-9900

Is it possible?? I'd like to have my videos separate from each other for a much cleaner look. If not, is there a way to put them in a particular order - numerical or alphabetical?

They already have another version of the firmware? mine is T99VZV02

I heard from a customer service rep at a local verizon Store yesterday that LG is creating an LG VX 8350 to update the 8300. Has anyone heard anything about this and if so, does anybody know what any of the changes would be at all? Thanks.

I have backup assistant on my LG ENV. Backup assistant will not sync with my phone automatically. It does not alert me to open my phone to activate the sync. (as it did with my Motorola E815) I have it set to sync every afternoon and it does not occur. I can sync it manually- from phone to b/u assistant. If i change something in the phone book online & try to send from b/u assistant to my phone it does not work. Any suggestions? Is this a known issue? Thanks.

How do you check the firmware version on your phone. I just received mine and want to know if it has the latest firmware.

My enV Orange front screen has gone black. It looks like it lights up but nothing appears on the screen. When I close the phone it doesn't turn on the front screen. It cuts on now and again, but just by chance. It was fine this morning but I noticed it started staying black for a long time when I would hit ok or something.

Anyone else having that problem? Is it a bug, or is it simply a broken phone?

I used the drag and drop method to save mp3s to my micro sd card. The problem is when I go into my music the only music file that show up are the ones I downloaded online. None of the music from the sd card shows up. What am I doing wrong, Thanks

My experience trying to get a 4GB Micro SD card to work in my LG VX9900 enV (Orange):

I bought the enV and SanDisk 4GB card yesterday for my son who turns 15 tomorrow.

I inserted the card into the enV, and the phone recognized it and could write to it without a problem.

When I got home the trouble started!

1) I couldn't get the card out. Pushing it in, did not cause it to Pop out as on my VX8300. I ended up resorting to tweezers to get it out.

More on that below.


2) I was unable to READ the 4GB Micro SD card on my desktop PC (XP, San Disk ImageMate 8in1 reader), nor my laptop (XP, integrated SD reader).

Both PC's COULD read the 2GB card I use for the VX8300!

I was thinking of getting the enV soon and I was wondering if this has a Vibrate + Ring option. I have the RAZR now & i can not stand not having a vib + ring option.

For my Get it Now, i used to have my Music Song ID listed under Get new ringtones but now it's not there anymore. I mean all I did was bring my phone into tech support and have them look at something w/ the scheduler for a second but that should've upset the Music ID what do you tink I should do? I want to make a custom background for the front screen but need to know the pixel dimensions. Anyone know? I already know the inside one is 320*240, but what is the outer screen?

What is the best way to charge the battery? I've heard let it get close to dying out then charge it fully. Some people say charge it for 2 - 3 hours a day. What's the best way to get the most out of a battery?

i can get the speaker option to work when the phone is open, but not when it's shut. am i just missing something, or is not possible to use when the phone is closed? i have the holster for the phone, and it's clipped to the visor in my car, and i'd like to be able to use the speaker option, but the holster won't hold the phone when it's open. thanks for the help!

Does anyone know how to put the lg env on Silent? Without changing every sound option? I had the Motorola E815 & it was one of the choices (loud, vibrate, silent, etc) I have the lg set to no ringtone- so it doesn't ring -but I still get text alerts, missed call alerts, voice mail alerts etc... Any thoughts you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Got my EnV couple of days ago. So far so good, but, there are 5 spots on the back of it that look like "cut outs" where you maybe could take the piece "out". Can anyone tell me if these serve a purpose? There's one in each corner on the back and one at the "top/middle" (on the back ). I'm feeling like an idiot 🤭 I don't know what these are. 😕

☹️ I have Version 2 on my phone and a 4GB card. All of a sudden, my phone will now Synch the Music with the New Version of Music Essentials. Any suggestion? I would go back to the old version and see if it would work, but I don't think you can download it any where any more.

Is anyone using any type of reception "booster"? I drop calls within my own home in certain areas..maybe within 5 or 6 feet of places where i can receive calls with no problem. any help would be appreciated.

MY desktop will read me 2GB card, but not my 4GB card. Does any one know a way that I can get my desktop to read the 4GB Card?
