I was thinking of getting the enV soon and I was wondering if this has a Vibrate + Ring option. I have the RAZR now & i can not stand not having a vib + ring option.

Yup, the enV definitely has a ring+vib option. In fact, that's how i always differentiate my texts from my incoming calls cause i have my incoming calls set to just ring my custom ringer. I also have Voice Commands activated (Call From or Message From) but when i get a text and I do text a lot, I have it ring and vib and i love that.

I was trying this out for all message/call types last night, and for some reason I can't get pix/flix messages to vibe+ring. I can get incoming pix/flix messages to just "vibe" if the phone is set to "vibrate only". ๐Ÿคจ
Anyone have any luck getting pix/flix messages to vibe+ring? ๐Ÿ‘€

nope you're right i tried that MYSELF as well and the vib tone for pix/flix doesn't work for some reason. It does with texting, and possibly w/ Voicemail but not w/ that. I figured version 2 firmware upgrade would solve this problem, but it hasn't. I have no idea why. It's so weird. Any one else try this with better luck?

How do you activate the vibrate + ring feature? The instructions are poor and I can't find it on the phone.

YOu mean for texting or any kind of messaging all you have to do is go to the main menu, settings and tools, sound settings, alert sounds, then pick which type of messaging you want, select vibrate or option 2, and then select on. Just that simnple and trust me, makes a world of difference. Hope this helps...

No because the things is is that the vib+rings for messaging alerts is controlled by those steps reviously stated but to have calls ring and vib all you'd do is do the same thing by going to Settings and tools, Sound Settings, Call Sounds, Call Vibrate, then select either on or off. I hope this helps once again...
