The True Test of a Phones Durability is Time

I am already discovering a few minor issues that are essentially resulting from usage. The K button is not working sometimes and the lens closing part is already kind of loose. The phone might have a more cost effective build then I thought as the plastic is scratching for almost no reason.

Everything looks great but.....

why the transition from the mini SD to micro SD? Eh?

I understand that most of the phones are going to micro SD but for someone that has the 9800 and several mini SD cards that has to invest more money into the predecessor, doesn't really show me any benefits. Rolling Eyes

I need some more feedback on signal strength before I take the plunge. Anyone who has this phone or has tested this phone, please leave some feedback on its signal strength. Thanks

Can anyone explain difference in mobile web ebay and premium subscription to ebay at $3.99 a month??

I cannot find anyone, even at Verizon that can tell me the differnce in the mobile web 2.0 ebay in the shopping area and the premium subscription for $3.99 a month other than larger picture size.

What are you paying extra for? I can already sign in to my ebay and bid, shop, etc.
I just don't understand what you are paying extra for other than larger pictures???

Confused 'bout the UI

I heard it has two options...

1) Blue UI with blue bars and the main menu is 2 rows of four icons (like the picture shows here).

2) Green/black UI like on the vx8600.

But i saw some pics with the red standard UI. Is that an uh oh error??? I need specifics before I order mines.

9900 alarm

When you set the alarm clock, is it possible to have the phone vibrate WITH the alarm tone, rather than just the tone itself? Does anyone know?

Question about the $150 price point...

I want to cancel my service under Tmobile and open a new line under my families pre-existing family plan on VZW.

If I do so, will I be able to get the two year agreement discount on the phone? Or does that only apply if it is a phone line being opened under an individual plan?

Please, someone who has done this help me out. Sad

Battery life vs 9800

Anyone notice this has a smaller battery, yet a slighly longer talk time and a MUCH longer standby time than the 9800? Did they make the front screen worse like the 8100 vs 8300 or something? My 8300 battery lasts forever just because of the outside screen as far as I can tell.

Games on the vx9900

Post any problems/reviews/issues with games for the 9900. Paranoid

1. Has anyone had any luck sucessfully running Massive Snowboarding on their vx9900?
Mine always re-boots when I try to play the game, and I tried uninstalling it and re-installing it. Anyone else have any problems with this or any other game? Rolling Eyes
