Battery

Hey everyone,
I was wondering, if my battery starts to not hold a charge very long, will they replace it under the 1 year warranty? I haven't had my phone for that long and I don't have a problem yet, but I would like to get a replacement battery (standard not extended) before the warranty expires if they would allow it - typically my previous phones' batteries have all started to become bad and not hold a charge almost a year after I got the phone.

But I don't know if that's now considered something that I have to replace since it's somewhat "consumable" or if that'd be covered under the warranty too.

Thanks!

Custom Dictionary

For the front screen and keypad when you're typing up a text, does the phone have a custom dictionary? I mean if you use ABC mode and type in a custom word or abreviated terminlogy, then hit T9 then phone will remember it when you go and type it in again but I've had situations when in a week or so, the phone doesn't recognize the custom word or phrase that you're trying to enter. i hope you know what I'm talking about here. hahah. I mean on our FDU Rave wireless school phone, the Sprint Samsung M500 you can actually view all the words in your custom dictionary. Thanks for anyone help! 🙂 😁 😎

calendar appointment subject

Has anyone noticed that you can't enter too many words in the subject line when typing in a calendar appointment on the en? I mean is there anyway to make it so you can add like 3 lines of text? I mean it's not a big deal but it would be nice to enter more text. Thanks.

Which car mount to use?

Who here mounts their enV inside thier car, to use the navigator, listen to music, etc? What mount do you use? I am looking at the arkon cm330 and I'm just curious to know if that's the best mount or if there is a better one? For my particular car, I think a cupholder mount would work better than a vent mount.

Your thoughts about Verizon Wireless

Ok I know this might sound weird to people in this forum, but i'm curious as to how everyone feels about Verizon Wireless? I'm talking about how much you like your own phone and the other phones they offer, their service reception wise and of course Get it Now and VCast, and your plan wise. One of my best friends switched to Sprint because they are cheaper and I kept on telling him that Verizon's got better service even though they are more expensive? So what's everyones opinion here? Thanks in advanced much appreciated! 🙂 😁

enV camera

For some reason when i start taking pictures with my cam, as it's focusing the yellow box gets replaced with a red one and starts blinking and making noises and wont let me take a picture. The only way to avoid this is to turn off focus completely. Does anyone know why it's doing this? Thank you in advance

Converting DVDs to phone movies.

Finally found a working program that will directly convert a DVD to a movie that will run and look great on the LG env. Plato DVD to 3GP converter works pretty well but is still not a slam dunk. I tried a good dozen other programs and this was the best tho. The link for the download is here:
http://www.dvdtompegx.com/html/dvdto3gp.html »

The download will only allow you to do half of the movie. If you wish to try a whole movie before committing to buy the product, do a google search on plato dvd to 3GP,keygen which should get you to keygen.ms. Remember that you are obligated to buy once you verify the product works for you. The program will work with protected DVDs that you own so you can back them up to watch on your phone. It takes abou...

Mobile Web 2.0 Downloading

Is there a way to download things off of internet via Mobile Web 2.0

In example, A ringtone website said that I could access their website using Mobile Web 2.0, so I did. When i got to the place where I was supposed to download the ringtone, it told me to read the manual to see how to "right click" things to download.

Does anybody know how?

Please Help =\ ☚ī¸

Setting up Web Access on your LG env with hopke.net

Setting up Web Access on your LG env with hopke.net
There is a terrific service that John Hopke has set up so that you can access the web on your env phone for $12/year.
http://www.hopke.net »
is where you sign up. There are some things that John left out that will make your installation go MUCH easier so I will give explicit instructions (except for specific proxy server, proxy port, and password which John provides when you sign up). WAP stands for Web Access Protocol and is how your phone talks to the internet.
First, there is really NO WAY to ruin your phone by using this service. The only file that we play with is one called paramtable1.fil in the OWS folder on the phone. With one menu selection, this file can be restored to its ori...

Free Wap

Is there any way I can get free wap on my EnV? I use to have the VX8300 and I know you could of did it going into the service menu but with the EnV I can't do so.

The problem is I can't change anything in Wap Settings. Maybe it's because I have Software v02.

Can anyone help me?

Deleting entire body of text?

I searched around the phone but couldn't find anything on this. Is it possible to delete an entire body of text by holding the CLR button, or do you simply have to keep clicking CLR to delete each individual character? On my sidekick, if I happened to type a few sentences and I wanted to delete it to start over, I could either highlight it or hold down the delete button to clear the entire field.

I know that if you hold down the CLR button, it deletes the last word you typed..which is ok I guess, but I'd rather have it delete everything haha. It just seems more useful *shrug*
