Motorola V600

Confirmed with my friend at the local AT&T store that the V600 pre-release packets are coming out. She received an e-mail announcement. It also specifically stated that the pre-release would be for PHILLY, HOUSTON, SEATTLE and CHICAGO.

These are apparently the first markets to get the V600....not sure how long before the others will get them.

Does anyone know of if this or any other phone will support multiple connections via bluetooth?

i.e. I would like to connect to my laptop at the same time i'm connected to my Jabra FreeSpeak headset.

ive heard v600 will be coming to cingular, so what should i do?

i just saw the commercial for this phone. I think its a good sign that a commercial is out for it. although they say to go on the waiting list at moto.com but a commercial can only mean one thing...........its comming out soon!

). As I discovered the news was first published on January 8th, 2004.

Picture of the mobile phone on the home page of ATI is incredibly similar to the V600. Please check it! There is though a little difference. If you compare display of the new phone with the V600 you will notice that its display is - at least by my opinion - a little bigger (there is no Motorola sign above it and the border around it is thinner). I talked to our ATTW rep who handles our business account and she received the pricing sheet for the v600 yesterday morning. The price listed on that sheet is $299. I was surprised as I thought it would be around $399. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining! 😁

Does anyone know if this phone can be used as a wireless modem for a laptop? I'm decideing between the V600 and the Nokia 3620 I know the Nokia can do it but the V600 not sure of. I would rather have this one its SOO MUCH better looking! Thanks 😉

Can someone answer this: If i get this phone unlocked and take it to another carrier other than ATTWS, does the software in the phone change?? or will the Mmode software still be in the phone??
