Hey everyone, I thought I'd throw in some opinated statements after catching up on the latest forum threads. First off the N75 was put back on the Cingular Price Sheets, for the Month of April, according to sources, IE my local rep they sent out a revised list and the N75 had been added. is this further proof that it is releasing in April like we all hope? and if so can i get a package deal if i buy it at the same time i buy the Xbox 360 Elite also comming out this month? Though i agree that a vice president of a major company like cingulr should and would know beter then to sell a phone he was given thats yet to be released. if he was a friend or an idiot, he might just have. As the deadline closes to an end for the 4 wek mark for bestbuys ...

The Manager confirmed that it is, in fact, on the price sheet. He went on to say that he expects the Distribution Center to have it around the 15th and that this little bad boy should be in stores a few days after that.

SO, it may be released online on the 15th.

Or he's been reading this forum and is messing with me. But he uses the E62 and has been waiting for the N75 to come out as well.

Hello,
The N75 being a GSM Quad or World Phone it should work in Europe and Asia.

They probably get the phones before we do.
Especially in Japan and China, and they have better phones that we have not even seen yet.

If we could get an N75 phone from over there, it should work over here no problem as long as it is unlocked and you may have to get another simm card.

When you travel to Europe or other Asian countries for more than a few months you can take your unlocked GSM phone with another simm card and be able to use it over and pay as you go with their cel phone companies and not have to pay US long distance and roaming fees.
This is what I have been told.
CDMA phones I believe only work in North America and GSM Quad or World...

🙂 I JUST PURCHASED THIS PHONE FROM A CINGULAR VICE PRES. LET ME TELL YOU THIS PHONE IS SWEET. ITS THE BEST PHONE IVE EVER HAD,I ASKED HIM WHEN THE RELEASE WAS AND HE SAID VERY SOON, COULDNOT GIVE ACUAL DATE,NO PRICING EITHER,HOPEFULLY SOON IT IS WELL WORTH THE WAIT I PROMISE!!!

😢 i was just told by my nokia guy that he highly doubts the phone is coming to the midwest region. doesnt mean it wont go to any other region, but he did say the midwest region did not want to carry it but it still had to go through the higher ups approval and it still might get approved since it has recieved technical approval the other day. sorry for the bad news, hopefully the higher ups will get their thumbs out of there *** and actually put out a phone that everyone is wanting instead of being dumb. let ya know if i found out any other info. 😢

😡 CTI Miami, in case you all haven't checked yet, has moved the ETA to april 13th!! Another week. Oh well! 😡

The date to watch this week is Friday, April 6th. That's when CTI-Miami says it will have the N75 in stock. I'm skeptical because saying that the phone will be out soon helps preorders. I wouldn't be surprised if the ETA gets pushed back after hours on the 5th.

You'll remember: Negri Electronics said that it would have the N75 in on the 29th of March, and on the 28th they bumped the date to the 15th of April.

Also, the boy genius is reporting that Cing-Cing is giving $50 rebates for the N75 in the April - June timeframe, which would be odd if they didn't think of releasing it.

I did a little investigating and noticed that most of teh people posting messages about the N75 have neither done a phone review and only seem to be concerned with the N75. Do they work for Nokia? Is it some kind of conspiracy? I do know that the N75 will come out when Nokia and Qualcomm make a deal on WCDMA technolgy. As far as all the bullshit about talking about talking to cingular or nokia rep, the bullshit about when the phone will actulally come out, the speculation that cingular is just waiting to brand the phone at&t is all hogwash. Please only post factual information and stop with all the bullshit.

I work with a premiere agency of Cingular's.....when it comes to the N75, I'm understanding that it does have a tentative release date of April or May at the latest.

I've played around with a live demo he had in his storehouse binder of new goodies, and it's a sick unit.

Camera's very clear, as are the integrated stereo speakers for playing MP3's externally.

When it comes to reception and battery life, it's a Nokia....I'm sure like usual there won't be any issues.

So relax people, it's a great phone, and it'll be out shortly enough.

It's already on our rebate forms through the store, so I know it's in process.

hi everyone!! don't have a good news a longtime ago i was given this 800 # by cingular's rep. to enquire about the phone i just called them and gal told me that she checked with her supervisor and he told her that late summer or early 3rd quater. i am really not happy!! keep hearing diff. things and read diff. stuff here. she also recommended me to read stuff on phonescoop.com soo they are aware of what is going on here. i guess i am going to give it till end of this month and make my decission i have waited since nov.06.

I spoke to a sales person today. She anticipated the phone to be out within the next two week. She even said it could be pushed to an earlier date. She took my name and number down. I asked if there was a waiting list. She said no, and then asked me what the big deal was with this product. I told her it was a 3G smart phone, e.t.c., e.t.c.
