"version for the US", har har.

Please, their version of the N95 for the US is more than likely going to be on Cingular. With no high-speed, only EDGE, because the GSM providers are the damn losers in the speed race. I'd ditch my contract and move to Cingular, despite less-than-stellar NYC reception, just for the US version of this phone - but only if they keep the feature set in parity with the overseas one.

Not likely.

I too want the N75. I have checked with the Nokia flagship store in Chicago and they advise me that this phone will be sometime in the 1st quarter. They also states that there is a heavy demand for this phone. I can't wait.

So from what I gather, this phone is capable of UMTS, but not HSDPA correct?

What is the difference in speed between UMTS and HSDPA? Is it possible Nokia could add HSDPA as an OTA update in the future or will the phone not be capable of HSDPA?

Have a bad feeling

I want this phone very bad a well and continue to hope it really will be released on time. Bad news is I spoke with a Cingular rep who is very doubtful and even believes April or May. Lets hope he is wrong...

Curious Place for the Camera Lense.

I'm wondering if the user won't have to use the outside screen to take pictures considering the placement of the lense. It's on the back of the phone, which usually means it's meant to be held like a camera. It sure would suck if you had to though Sad .

Battery life & peeling

I'm worried that this phone will suffer from similar crappy battery life as 6126 (aka 6131) since the screen sizes are same and battery is even smaller on the N75. Same sentiment for the infamous "skin peeling" issue as N75 appears to be made out of the same materials as 6126 Confused

No ringer IDs?

Isn't this a small over sight on the part of Nokia. Not that the lack of ringer IDs is a deal breaker, bu c'mon.

I guess I can just pretend that it's 1999. I'll add an exclamation point to the end of my important contacts on my sweet 5160. Rolling Eyes

New size-comparison photos

We just added some extra photos of the N75 and N95.

For the N75, we have some more shots of the external display camera interface in action, plus some additional side-by-side shots of it next to other phones for size comparison.

We also added a couple of additional N95 size-comparison photos.
