according to the forum that "joseph" started on cingular it is supposed to be available today via the telephone. hey joseph why didn't you inform us on this. plus u said on cingular ur friend gave it to u not the vp 👿

Since when does anything get released on a sunday??? Usually release of anything are during the buisness week and phones are ually released on tuesdays or thursdays. If it does come out this week it will be available online on tuesday and stores will have it(if their getting it which i doubt) on thursday or friday. Rebate forms for this phone have been out for almost 2 months now, which apparently means nothing as to its release. Whoever supplied that info has 98.9% chance of being full of it imho.

On the Cingular forum, you mention it will be released online today (April 14th). Here, you mention it will be the 15th.

Which one?

I guess as the day progresses, it's looking more like tomorrow.

I have participated in fighting for lost causes before, and although gathering signatures usually does not "Save The Whales", it does let people know how many people have an interest in the cause.
SO, I propose that you add on to this thread if you truly support the release of the Nokia N75 SOON!
Nothing too complex. Just a Happy Face would do the trick.

I don't really look at much on this site other than the forum of this phone. We're up to 8 pages, and counting. Has any other phone on phonescoop gotten this much pre-release forum attention??

I give Joe credit for sticking with his guns on this, and not spilling the beans on what he knows or how he knows. From my own sources at Cingular, I've been told that Cingular does not release phones on Sundays, Also, that the phone has been pushed back to at least June for re-Branding. The reps in the kiosk at my local mall, were quoted saying "No new smart phones or PDA'S will be released till at least june due to re-branding" AND "Cingular corp does not release New Phones on Sundays" Now this may not be true but i am a former Cingy Emp;loyee and on sundays most offices are closed at cingular, i remembr the frustration of trying to help customers with issues when i could never get ahold of anyone. Not sure what to say folks i hope i'm wrong about all this and Joe is right but i am doubting it

I heard it had somethihg to do with branding the phone "Cingular"! I don't care what name is on the d_ _ _ _ phone, just give the people the phone,because i'll remove the brand anyway cause I don't believe in free advertisment for companies anyway! 😎 😉

Here's what appears to be a developer having difficulty with verisign on a number of Cingular phones, but its not clear if N75 is one of them with the troubles

Ok, so we know we can order a N75 Fitted case from cingular. Now, get this: we can also get a $50 dollar rebate for the N75 provided we bought it between Jan 21st, 2007 and March 31st, 2007.

My guess: Cingular had planned to get the N75 out the door much earlier, until some snafu gummed up the works. I sure would have liked to have been a fly on the wall of the management meeting when the N75 hit the fan.

released the nokia 2610 today. nobody seems to care about it. i actually saw a lot of action on cingular's site tonight. earlier when i checked, they had 15 pda/smartphones listed. now they have 18. the n75 is still nowhere to be found. ☹️

OK so now the N75 has a link for a case on the Cingy site. But I can’t get to that link through the Cingular site with scroll downs or search or anything else just the link posted? I am very perplexed.

The phone is also listed on the Cingular Xtras website but when you click the link it disappears, Maybe that is it the phone is an illusion. It showed up on 2 of Nokias sites for a few hours then disappeared again.

While I do not think the phone will be released on a Sunday I can see the phone being posted Sunday Night ready for a Monday release. this morning i saw n95 at nokia.com for $749.00 including shipping. i was about to order it, i was on the checkout and then chicken'ed out as it is still $500 more than n75. also called nokia flagship store in n.y. and gal confirmed the price. on ebay and other places they are selling it for $850 to $1100 plus shipping!!! just because nokia wants to sell few of n95 may be that it why they are pushing n75 out further as i was very close to order it. i wonder how many other people have thoughts like mine on it. also that guy joseph could be cingular or nokia rep. and they might be trying to feel the market as they keep an eye on phonescoop. i have a feeling that like joseph said earlier it should be out soon as we have 2 guys on phonescoop wh...

CTI-Miami.com has pushed the release date back from the 13th to the 17th, at least this time they didn't push back the release date a whole week!!

This is weird: You can get a fitted N75 case on Cingular, but not the N75. Such a tease! 😛
