Motorola KRZR K1m

You won't see it online yet but you can get them through 611 customer service. I received one today and it is awesome! The design is just perfect for the krzr. It is very streamlined and feels so good when holding on long calls. The extra size and weight does not do harm one bit. My standard battery was great and I can hardly wait to test this extended over the weekend.

Does anyone have this phone with Sprint & are you able to sync calendar & contacts in Outlook?

Is it possible to change the font size for this phone, particularly the front screen with the time on it? I want to make it larger. Seems way too small even for a small front screen.

I have searched and searched 😳 , but there seem to be no covers (silicon, plastic, etc.) of the type that can be on the phone during use (not a lame pouch) that explicitly claim to fit the k1m when using an extended battery. Anybody seen one?

I like the black k1m krzr from Verizon, but the reflectiveness of the silver keypad really irritates my eyes. I found a k1m black keypad on the Cellular Nationwide Network web site (they sell parts for cell phones). If I swap the silver for the black keypad, does that void the warranty? I suppose if I needed to take it in for service at Verizon I could just put the silver keypad back in. Is there any way the Verizon folks would know that I had switched the keypads around? Many thanks for any advice.

My ebay adapter delivery just came in and doesn't work. The phone recognizes that I have connected a headset but no music comes out of the headphones. I'm using a mini-USB to 3.5mm adapter with a Sprint K1m.

Why are all the phones from Verizon so dam fat? It's not because of a bigger battery, they always have much less talk time than GSM phones. This phone like the standard RZR is longer, wider and fatter. What gives VZ?

I am torn between the Krzr white, the lg 8600 and the rzr k3m. I love the animation wallpaper on the 8600 (I like the fun stuff on these phones! LOL!), but really wanted to stick with a motorola because I have the accessories from my Q (charger, etc.) that I can use. Does the Krzr and /or rzr have the animation wallpaper like the 8600 does? Also, any opinions on the krzr overall (battery life, reception, bluetooth, etc.) , I'd appreciate. I HAVE been reading the forums but thought maybe someone recently had some new opinions. THANKS!

Does any dust get into the glass on the front of the display. I see that there is a slight opening at the bottom. Any dust problems anywhere on the Krzr?

It's on sale for $10 shipped and I was wondering if it's worthwhile...

First question: If I am considerring the KRZR as a new phone and price is not a factor, is the RZR MAXX worth waiting for (assuming a Feb. launch).

Second question: How soon before the RZR MAXX launches will Verizon cut the price of the KRZR?

This phone has now been out for a couple of months now; does anyone have any insights into when Verizon will cut its price on this phone?

other than not being able to access the outside media buttons, will a silicone case for the sprint krzr still be compatible with the k1m? i just want to make sure everything will still line up right before i buy one.

I just got a krzr, but I have developed a problem. The device does not play ringtones or sounds from the menu. There is still the key beep, it will still play music, and the ringtone will still sound when it is called, but it will not play the ringtones when choosing one from the ringtone list.

The phone is 3 days old, and hasn't been damaged in any way. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a Moto v710 and my wife has the e815 and I'm thinking of upgrading to the KRZR. I did some searching but I have some questions about the bluetooth capabilities. Currently all I can do with my phone's bluetooth is use a headset. Can I transfer files like pictures and mp3s with the krzr's bluetooth. I don't pay for txt messaging so I'd prefer to use other methods to transfer files.

Also, I've read about VW's crippling of these phones by preventing the use of mp3s as ringtones. Is there a simple way of modifying/unlocking the phones so that I could simply set an mp3 that I transferred to my phone (using either the sd card or the bluetooth) as a ringtone? With my 710 I would put the mp3 on the phone via the sd card and then send the m...

I'm confused, Is the KRZR k1m compatible with the 2GB transflash memory card or not. Some here say they use it successfully, the Motorola website and tech support both say up to 1 GB, Verizon says 1GB. Can anyone give me some good solid YES on the 2GB. Thanks

I would really like to know when there is an update that fixes the VIBE + Ring not allowing your contact ringtone to work.

Does anyone else have this problem: Sometimes when I finish a call, the whole display goes white. After about a minute, it will go back to the regular display. I have reset the phone, but it still happens at times. Sometimes, the screen slightly flickers after I press end too. Please let me know.
