Motorola KRZR K1m

Is there an easy hack to circumvent the number of characters limitation in the Personal Banner? It seems like it will only take 12 characters.

Menu>Settings & Tools > Display Settings > Banner

Any info on possible software updates for this phone. I like the phone a lot, but would like to be able to get a larger type font, and change those red bars to any other color, similiar to what you can do on the older LG5300 that I just set up for a friend

Where do you speak when the phone is closed? is it a 2 way speaker on the bottom?

OR

do you speak into that little space in the front on the bottom of the lid?

Does anyone own the White KRZR K1m? I'm very interested in upgrading to this phone, but the Verizon site shows two different photos for the phone.

It shows a dark gray phone with a white trim, but when you click on it, it then shows a light silver/white phone with white trim.

I was hoping an owner of the white KRZR could tell me which photo the phone more closely resembles.

I just got a new krzr, and I have been experiencing rather poor battery life for a brand new phone. The phone tends to last under 48 hours with light usage. Is this normal? How long do your phones last on a full charge?

I just purchased the KRZR for Sprint PCS and the only problem I seem to have is that there is a lag delay of almost 4 seconds when looking thru the menu on the phone or when looking at the pictures in the phone...I called Sprint and told me that I should that the phone to Sprint so they could check it on their computer and perhaps upgrade/flash the phone with an updated software. Has anyone having this same problem or is this solution from Sprint true?? Any help would be greatly appreciate it. Thanks..

will the krzr alarm clock work even when the phone is turned off...i know that i have owned some that did and some that didn't?

I have owned my KRZR for vzw since the release date and have been very happy with it but recently, from where I sit and go on the computer the phone is only getting 1 if not any bars of service and time to connect is taking forever. I didnt have this problem before and I use to have 3 + bars and almost instant connect time. Is there any quick fix and is it worth the time to bring it into verizon (I do pay 5$ a month for insuarnace). Thanks.. DECLAX

I apologize if this question has been asked in a different thread. Does the KRZR K1m support bluetooth stereo for music? If so, are there any recommendations you guys may have for a headset? I realize that different providers placed certain restrictions on these phones. So far it seems like Verizon Wireless is the biggest culprit in doing that. Thanks in advance for the help.

Help! Great looking phone but a couple of complaints. Is there a setting for vibrate AND ring at same time? Also, the audibility of calls is ridiculously low. I have to put everyone on speakerphone. the other party's can hear me fine but I can barely hear them. My coworkers agree. I thought i was going deaf before i had friends validate my complaint. lol. 1 call out of 10 is what i would consider normal audibilty. Help

I've noticed that my Krazr doesn't hold a "missed call" message after the small outside screen times out to black. Other phones I have used hold this information for when the phone is open. I now have to go to recent calls to see what I missed.

Can anyone else tell me if this works for them? The missed call indicator stays on the screen until it times out to black. Then, poof. It's gone when I recheck it.

Per the "tmp" method, i got my 19 second ringtone in and working.

My 19 seconds file wasnt very large to email, however most of my mp3's are very large.. Roughly around 7mb range...

I can reduce them, but not sure what is the largest i can send..

So far over 2mb it has been bounced back..

Curious if someone else already knows this answer.

Hello. I have a moto kzrz. and was wondering how do I put the memory card in? I have a sandisk. Does that go in this phone?

for some reason, my phone refuses to read my memory card when it used to at one point...i tried reformatting it and putting the info n songs n things back on, but it still says there is an error and wont read it...im running out of ideas, can anybody help???? please and thank you!

Just got the phone for christmas. I like it so far and have no complaints. Im just curious to see if you can view a text message with the handset closed. Has anyone else tried this? if so, what side buttons must u press to open your new text message?
