Come on now, everyone is so quick to jump on sprint about getting phones later. Well I'm, here to tell you why so you can all stop whinning. Sprint has a compliance/patch rate on their phones which must be passed before they will allow it to be sold in retail stores. Sprint's compliance rate is 95%. higher than any other cell phone companies (verizon and alltel are 80%). As many of you know PDA's freeze alot, some more than others, this has to do with different programs and software that each company requests to be on their model of phone, as well as user error. "Just announced, Sprint is using it's remaining capitol originally intended to help launch their WiMax and QChat technologies to buy the regional service provider Alltel. Sprint (NYSE: S) CEO Dan Hesse was quoted saying "If we are going to go down... we are taking Chad with us." The Merrill Lynch investment analyst thinktank was quoted later as saying "Based on our information we believe that if T-Mobile did purchase Sprint post the Alltel purchase that they could in fact afford to consume both companies and likely benefit from the merger offering their customer's a more diversified set of offerings." Well you heard it hear first, Sprint has officially announced the release of the Samsung Instinct, previously known as the M800. The official launch date will be in June, sooner than previously thought. It will sport a 2 megapixel camera, it WILL be RevA, supports up to 8gb micro SD, Bluetooth 2.0, the only one to offer live t.v., GPS, and much much more. All the Sprint Stores on the East Coast are closed tomorrow till 11am for a three hour conference call for unknown reasons...

Ive googled the hell out of it but only can see so much on my resticted internet here ... SO ... does anyone know what the user interface on this bad boy will be like ?!?! I'm going to guess that this will be WM 6.1 ??? Will all the third party apps that the Touch support play nice with this new device ??? Any more info on this phone would greatly be appreciated.

I got my hands on a Blackberry Curve from sprint today, its a perfect size, basically has all the features of the pearl but with a full qwerty keypad! sprint tv and all. i have pics if you want me to email them to you. Also, Sprint is getting the LG Voyager later this year, just some F.Y.I

Hey its interesting to see news of a water powered phone come out today from Samsung. Sprint is coming out with the first ever solar powered phone coming out in the 4th quarter. The phone is being manufactured by Motorola. Not a whole lot of details just yet will keep you guys posted

Last playbook they had on the Playbook calendar that the Balckberry Curve will launch April 17th for Sprint. The new Playbook shows no evidence that it's coming out, I'm pissed because I was waiting on this phone and now it seems as if they pushed it back.

All the gossip on the Sprint Curve's date - when will the Verizon Curve be available?
