So how do you all like working with these new wonderful (scornful dripping sarcasm) motorola L-garbage phones and the also super wonderful razors.
But on a positive note we did get the w300i finanly this company buys a good phone .. its the base model so don't expect the world but seriously its a good phone. if anyone needs help with ringtones, themes or mms for this phone let me know.
So what does everyone think ...

I found a nice program to cut mp3's for ringtones ... its call adobe audition ... my w300 was pissing me off since Cing locked it from using full mp3's (which i find wildly obnoxious since its a walkman phone them money grubbing ringtone money making scumbags) but unfortunately the adobe audtion program is only a trial and i think i have only 30 days .... so if you would all take a minute to pray i can find ...

I don't have service with Cellular one do to a financial problem my relative caused for me with the company. plus employee pricing is only likw 25% off full retail.

Um thats wrong. I work for cellular one and we have the unlocked w300i and you can use full mp3's as ringtones. its the cingular locks and branding. i know i need to flash the phone but seriously one of the largest companies in the cellular market scamming customers for ringtone money by putting a lock on a WALKMAN phone is ****ing lame.

hecks ya i also work for a cell company and having a distinct ringtone for every contact and being able to use my phone the way it was built from the factory instead of having it governed like our cars are just sucks ... its just another way for the company to stick it to the customer by limiting them and forcing them to buy their freaking ringtones which sucks since i buy the phone and the service from ...

no but the w300i is a walkman phone and why would i want to have a hacked version of a song and the whole version of the song on the phone sucking up space and not be able to just use one .... like my s700i does that i bought off ebay

is there a way to get this cingular proprietary crap off my phone and unlock the features you guys locked like not being able to change the ringtones to any mp3 i use with the w300i i purchased from Cingular instead of being a bad customer and buying an unlocked phone from the net and renewing my M0th3r *u*k*g contract for 2 years for no reason other than to get the phone cheaper ... and those damn rebate credit ...

Can't happen. Cingular has too much of the market already. The FCC and the US govt have put a stop to cingular buying out large companies so a monpoly does notcome into effect.

I have tried the s700i and the w300i and both worked fine with sms data and mms ... aka all functions worked with the proper settings

Nope. Cellular One as a carrier places phones products in retail stores do to their geographical and population density. A dense population gets more variety of phones because the service is stronger and can handle the phones with just ok antennas. Whereas places out in the middle of nowhere get decent phones with good antennas. On a whole I think the company relies too much on motocrappa phones. I'll give you 5 motorola phones ...

Ok Ok listen buy a sony ericson and save yourself some headaches. I work for this company and i play with alot of unlocked phones i have a s700i and a w300i SE, and they both work fine. Yes the internet works and you get the right wap and mms settings from sonyerricsson.com also no i don't have dropped calls. let me know if you have problems with your service i'll look into your area for ...
