Hi, I think I may be able to explain. Chances are you are visiting a Freedom Wireless kiosk. We are the largest Cellular One authorized dealer in the U.S. We will carry phones that are different than what the retail stores do to add variety. We also try to undercut their prices by $40-50. People are most familiar with us in Pittsburgh, where we sell Verizon (yay!) phones. We actually got to sell GSM phones a week earlier than the retail centers. That made for a fat paycheck!

Nope. Cellular One as a carrier places phones products in retail stores do to their geographical and population density. A dense population gets more variety of phones because the service is stronger and can handle the phones with just ok antennas. Whereas places out in the middle of nowhere get decent phones with good antennas. On a whole I think the company relies too much on motocrappa phones. I'll give you 5 motorola phones 1 razr 2 v180 and 2 v555 for just one w300 SE or one Nokia 6822.
