I don't know if the title of this bill is an accurate one. This seems incredible hard to enforce, as mentioned before few people check to see if the hardware and software match. Furthermore I think a court would have a hard time proving that the person who has the phone is the one who altered it. One other thing to add, with the increasing number of phones wihtout removable batteries, it makes it ...

So I had a customer come into the store today expressing issues with her battery in her iPhone 5 since the update to 6.0.2. After a small amount of reserach I have not found a sure fire solution so I wanted to take the topic up with Phonescoop to see if anyone here has found a fix. I found this discussion https://discussions.apple.com/thread/461152 9?start=0&tstart=0 but the solution given isnt proven and seems to require a lot of up keep. Any help ...

So does the anouncement today of the purchase give any certainty to Clear? Or is their any uncertainty left? The Sprint/Clearwire merger did not work and the wimax is as good as dead, but shouldn't clear still have some viable resources?

A few years ago (don't remember exsact dates) I belive in 2008 Sprint sold a large majority of their towers than rented them from a third party in order to generate a large lump sum of money. This did not generate enough funds to do it, neither will the softbank purchase their are still the much more important issues of network, manaement, marketing. This may help Sprint make a big comeback, but catching up to ATT and ...

Agreed, and if it is not overturned completely the amount will be greatly reduced. In addition, if in fact there was a relationship with a samsung affiliate and the foreman of the jurrry than Samsung should have been allowed to investigate, espeically if that relationship ended up with a law suite.

I know this thread is really old but you should check out the new share everything plans. Depending on how much data you need could save some $$. for example unlimted talk & text sharing 8 gb would be 160 and that is if each phone needs 4gb.

You, know when I first joined phonescoop I an remember threads taking about the amazing res on some high quaility vga screens.( I'm not that old twas only about 7 years ago) Now I'm reading a thread that asks if 720p is too crappy. Got to love the way technology grows. the simple fact of the matter is 720p is fine and few will notice the difference, and those that will either won't care or will ...

It is actually a pretty typical, customer service practice. To replace sympothy with empothy (knowing full well both words a misspelled but moving on anyways) The stupid thing is both these companies should be very happy with their share of the smartphone market. Palm is a thing of the past soon to be followed by windows mobile and blackberry (with the exception of business accoutns) In the last four years the smart phone world has ...

John, your idea seems like a fair one on paper, but why shold verizon and att have to foot the bill for the extra network maintence that would be required. Secondly if it came downt to prices and not just coverage than your percived problem would take place without question. isn't it better the way it is now? Customers whom value coverage will pay extra for att and verizon, while customers who stay in a single area ...

While I think it is honorable the way you stand up for the smaller carriers, but why should having a large amount of spectrum, regardless of the amoutn, prevent a company from growing or improving coverage in a given area. The government has already over steped it bounds once by preventing a perfectly leagal merger. It certainly should not control the amount that carriers are aloud to grow and or improve network in existing areas. The ...

I think your conclussion is a good one, but the article does talk aobut the battery saving power of the new processer. However it will require way more than a 30% decrrease in power consumption in order for that large of processer to become feasable.

I agree that the merger was foolish, but the point is it seems a little two faced to be ok with a large merger as the one betwen Sprint and Nextel and against others. The Sprint/nextel merger will probalby go down as one of the worst in history. I very strongly disagree with his statement and think infact telecom needs less fcc involvement not more. Captain Ahash said: and is content with trying to carve a niche for themselves. I think it's a far better business plan. Exactly right, I retailed sprint for the better part of 3 years, and watched as the custoemrs drained off. I think it is a positive and wise step for Sprint to carve out a "niche" or to put it in other terms a solid and loyal customer base. Rather than trying to slay goliath.

It wasn't all that long ago when it use to be the big 3. Sprint was a major player and even purchased Nextel. Though it was before Dan's time, thsi is a non issue and sounds a lot like what he said before the fcc to prevent the att tmobile merger. The fact is simple people continue to stay with Verizon and Att despite the lower prices offered elseware for a reason, that is why Sprint rarely ...

had a customer yesterday who had done an insurance claim but before he could return his damaged phone he lost it. I understand how this could happen what I don't understand how you go two months without telling anybody than expect a credit when you are charged for your phone that was not returned. I was not only shocked but a little upset that he was actually given the credit.
