Re: It's a little ambiguous
and what about individual users?
Re: A look at the future
price increases only effect new customers, existing customers plans are almost always honored by grandfathering in.
Re: Could ATT become the next Sprint and start bleeding customers?
10 years is a long time, kias are nice cars now.
Re: it is time for some....
i'm pretty sure it is the opposite.
Re: Will LightSquared sue the government?
I think light squared knew there would be issues, but they thought that the fcc, would force gps manufacturers to modify their equipment so it no longer bled over onto LS spectrum. They bet wrong, the GPS industry's lobbyist must have been more persausive then LS's.

Look, if AT&T gave them 5 crisp new $100 bills, these trolls would bitch because they so new they're attached to each other.

3 phones. I bet they are really basic pieces of garbage.
even if the phone are garbage, they will be 3g, and probably better than the old 2g only phone that they have had for a couple years at least, don't you think?
Re: please enlighten me
or consider that in you example, netflix or pandora or whoever, doesn't pass the buck to the consumer directly, but through advertisments, banners, commercials.
Re: $ 36.00
thats a great option, but if you are concerned about an additional $18 upgrade fee, paying $300 or $400 extra for you phone is probably not a better option
Re: 300$ to recycle a phone?
i only know because i have talked to a lot of people that left att for sprint and traded in their phone, found out the service was not up to par, and wanted to come back but had no phone. they usually are not very happy.
Re: 300$ to recycle a phone?
very crafty, so if you decide the service isn't right for you then you don't have a device to go back to your old carrier.
Re: Battery Comsumption Eric?
yes, i guess sarcasm does not lend itself well to this format.
Re: Battery Comsumption Eric?
this app will be great for texting while driving as well.

Re: How the Hell Would You Sell This Load of Fertilizer?
Mr. MadFatMan,
Cell phone service is not a replacement for you home DSL, HSI, WIFI service. If you are going to be using streaming video, like netflix, or skype, and streaming music services like pandora and data intensive apps then you need the 2 gig data plan, after sunday the 3 gig data plan. And if you're in an area with wifi, use it, so you can save your data for when your out and about. If you ...
Re: So...
it seems that people just like to hate ATT, and not their counterpart.
Re: AT&T
your right att should stop trying to improve its network.
Re: AT&T Wins Again
and maybe 3 major companies is less competition, but certainly not monopolistic.
Re: Yellow screens, battery problems, Siri issues, oh my!
and if your battery ****s the bed you have to buy a new phone or have them fix it at your cost. seems like a nice little way to make some $
Re: Please don't get me started
so if i get arrested in CA then they can search my phone and see my text messages to my drug dealer, and then he is gonna be pissed when they knock on his door.
Re: It Really Is Amazing
whats amazing is that the leming will pay for it
Re: RIP Steve
and the crappy iP4s broke his heart and killed him.
Re: oh boy
i guess my point was that these idiots are all so excited about a phone that they know very little if nothing at all about. addicted to the fruit.
oh boy
oh boy, i cant wait to preorder, or better yet stand in line all night so i can be the first person to have a phone that i don't know anything about yet.
Re: I call B.S. on this one!
get your facts straight. ATT spends a ton of money on both sides of the isle. upwards of $15,000,00.
Re: Deception
mono=1 duo=2 this merger would not create either of those, stop using those words.
Re: Up your's AT&T!!
i am happy for the haters today, but t-mo is going away with or with out att, dt doesn't want them anymore.
Re: To All Sprint Reps
for serious though.
i have been recieving calls abou the iphone 5 since feb. thanks wall st journal for publishing unconfirmed reports, i really appreciate it. talking to people about phones, that don't exist according to their OEM, that i can not sell, is my favorite.
Re: HP or Microsoft?
in the online version it mentioned microsoft and samsung as potential suitors
Re: HP or Microsoft?
was that in the D&C?
Re: I'm sure most perfer everything unlimited
unl calling is 69.99, and probably not because most people do not choose unl calling in my experience. however most people do choose unl messaging, although it would be nice to still have an option for customer who tx a moderate amount.
Re: Hmmm... good call? Bad call?
i get multiple calls a day about the iphone 5. it doesn't exist yet. apple loves to advertise and you will know months before its available. ahhhhh i hate these idiots.
Re: Hmmm... good call? Bad call?
yeah thats the impression that i got when i read the article.
Re: Hmmm... good call? Bad call?
according to a recent training we had, all of the hspa+ 4g phones will be able to use LTE once it comes out with a over the air software upgrade. this artcle and the quotes seem to contradict that, but thats what I have been telling customers, hopefully I was not misinformed, and misinforming people.
Re: The Truth:
they do not have wifi at the hotels you stay at?
Re: Type in article
i noticed this error as well
Re: Negotiate with Apple?
we don't negotiate with terrorists!
Re: Why the need for 4G anyway?
so you don't think aquiring t-mo spectrum and towers will help your ceverage needs and you want the company you have to fail?
Re: Why the need for 4G anyway?
i'm glad you know whats best for rural customers. i'm fairly certain that urban user don't NEED 4G either. however, most people that WANT smart phones WANT 4G regaurdless of where you live. att is not in the business of proving for peoples needs it is providing for peoples wants. what did people do 10 or 15 years ago when every one didn't have cell phones, they got by just fine, but people want them, ...
