Yes, Mr/Mrs Potential Customer, We have AMAZING devices that can keep you connected, entertain you, inform you, and ALMOST replace the need to have a traditional lap/desk top.

3G/4G hotspot/tethering capabilities, Pandora in your car or at the gym, YouTube, Netflix , download thousands of data hungry applications that require a CONSTANT connection to the internet, picture/video mail, VPN capabilities, push corporate email, online gaming and so on. Feel free to use it as you would your home LAN connection through your wired ISP.

So, the customer would ask, "Pardon me, Mr AT&T Salesperson, what about this tiered data, what is a gigabyte? You say this device can flip and do tricks and do all these wonderous things but is there a catch, ...

Mr. MadFatMan,

Cell phone service is not a replacement for you home DSL, HSI, WIFI service. If you are going to be using streaming video, like netflix, or skype, and streaming music services like pandora and data intensive apps then you need the 2 gig data plan, after sunday the 3 gig data plan. And if you're in an area with wifi, use it, so you can save your data for when your out and about. If you do not have home internet service I would be more than happy to talk with you about that, we have some great deals for our cell phone customers on home services. We may even be able to save you some money on your cable tv service with our award winning Uverse service.

Thats what i would say.

I am confused, you are AT&T mobility aren't you?
Did bouncing form blue to orange then orange to blue confuse you too?

I would of bought your device and service to cut the cord and avoid the wire line hoard.

Your prices are quite high with equal expectation, your data services should not need be subsidy or additional wireline compensation.

Instead of having a cow, I will take my business to the network that advertise as being in the "Now"

Don't you worry or be shy, I would be ashamed too if the company that I did damage control for by their pricing policy decisions left me with a black eye!

Maybe At&t should of invested in their network infrastructure so they could of supported unlimited without being a strain to their netwo...

So are you trying to say that 200mb for 15$ and 2gb for 25$ is a better deal then 3gb for 30 and 300mb for 20? In my opionion it seems as if you are getting more for your money.... Dosn't Verizon charge 29.99 for 2gb?????

I am saying, for what we pay as consumers, unlimited data makes complete sense.

All this other nonsense, you cannot sell me on.

Yep, and as a consumer you have the right to make a choice. However other people it works great and it IS the best option for them. No one is trying to sell you on anything. AT&T is simply making more competetive plans. Before long unlimited data will be non-existant. So it would be kind of ignorant to avoid the fact that you are getting more for your money with this change.

The NOW Network will maintain unlimited data for handset use. It's not going anywhere and if I am wrong, I will gladly buy you "nonbiasedrep" a 6 pack of whatever it is that you drink..... My money is pretty safe.. and so is my unlimited data.

Sprint just effectively throttled their mvno Virgin Mobile users because of increased data load via the iPhone on their 3g service.
As they keep adding iPhone customers, they will have to do something as their 3g network is not robust enough for everyone to have unlimited data.

Look at the history of unlimited data. ATT got the iPhone... dropped unlimited.... some years later, Verison takes on the iPhone... drops unlimited data....

Sprint is next.
You may be grandfathered just as ATT and Verison customers have been... but I guarantee you they will stop offering it and will throttle all their 3g users.
