Depending on the site, I have trouble highlighting the box or link that I want to click on. It skips over the particular link. For instance, on Yahoo mail, it skips over a box that is blue and does not allow me to download an attachment. Any suggestions.

yes, you have to navigate with your wheel to get the cursor right over the box you want...simply using an "up and down" (genter pod) doesn't hit every eligible icon...
