I just took my Q back to the store to reactivate my trusty RAZR, Here is why:

1. The buttons were too small to get any work done. At 1/8" there was no room to even allow letter dialing (800-FLOWERS) needed a cheat sheet or another handset nearby.
2. Verizon did not implement VZ Navigator, which is a great program for many uses, including renting a car, and many other uses when travelling. The GPS applications all need an external device.
3. The Bluetooth was too unreliable, switching between handset and car kit randomly without reason.
4. The keypad was so tiny, it did not allow the user to work fast, like the Treo.
5. Verizon did not allow BroadbandAccess Connect for tethering with a laptop. This disallowed my use of laptop with th...

I disagree - you are too picky - I drive a 545 2006 and love my q and had no problems with my Idrive sync - maybe you need to upgrade your idrve software. You can tak ethe say command off voice rec. if you you looked at the options. There should or will be apps so you can edit - but heavy editing will always be done by laptop devices. Yes letttering is aproblem on keypad - but look it up once and save it to memory no big deal. Do nto be cheap dial 411 and hae it text to your device then save it. I am sure a hack will come out to tehter fo rlaptop.

I think his point on letter dialing has more to do with dialing names in company directories, not with calling 411 to get the main number in the first place. For that reason alone, I opted not to buy the "Q". I need to do this daily and I don't need a hassle trying to remember what letter goes with what number while I've got important issues in mind.

Why not just create a contact for these "Important" numbers that use letter dialing and let voice dialing do it all for you?

I don't understand how you can say that the keyboard on the Q is smaller than the Treo, I have used both the Treo 650 and 700w and I think that the Q is just as easy to work with.

Their Execs use Blackberries,
they do not use Q's
Saying its not for Executives is inaccurate.

At this time the Q is still a "Cool toy"
Its pre-installed email client is quite lacking in enterprise level capability.
Which the Blackberry does well right now.
Once the Q gets to that point, and Verizon releases the push client that they've promised 2 updates ago. Then the Q could quite literally crush the blackberry.

I want a Q myself since it supports Bluetooth 1.2 and bluetooth stereo output.

You should use GoodLink if you want push on the Q. It's the best enterprise mobile messaging platform out there.
