$299 is the 2 yr pricing. $419 is the full retail. That's a fact. Any VZW rep can look it up in infomanager.

No, you will get the Q at the 2 Yr pricing which is $299. If you are eligible for your NEWE2, then you will get the Q for $199.

Thanks for the clarification.

It does not seem right that if I want a FamilyPlan (which I do), that I get penalized. I would hope that there would be a similar "bundle" for folks who want a FamilyPlan for the voice side, thus be able to purchase the Q for only $199 vs $299.

your not being penalized. they are making it more money for you.. the actual two year price is 299.99 just like you are going to pay.

the extra 100.00 off is an incentive to get single line plans and data..which creates more revenue for them unfortunately the Family plans are great for consumers but sucks in the eye of the company since each 9.99 line is a loss of revenue of almost 30.00 per month per line.

Can you sign up for say the $79.99 plan with data and cancel it before the end of 2 months? So in a sense you are still paying $299 but getting 2 free months of data.

I worked at Best Buy earlier today and decided to check the retail price of the phone. It rang up as $499.99. So I don't know where the $419.99 came up unless we're charging more than retail...

You're charging more than retail. Sucks to be Best Buy. 🤣
