Motorola Q

Ok one the Treo next to the space button there is a search button, in there you can type something in and it will find it anywhere in the phone. i.e in the notes under a persons contact info. Can this be done on the Q? Can you put notes under someone's contact info, save it, then somehow search it with a quick search method like the Treo? In my industry the notes under someone's contact info needs to be very accessible, and just purchased the Q and need help!
