now that is windows mobile 6 is about to be released, do you thing that older ver of smart phones and pocket PC will get an upgrade to the ver 6.0

Well thats kinda the point. But since proprietary carrier software has to be integrated on individual devices, dont look for a Q firmware update til microsoft works the sprint and VZW personalize the 6.0 software to the carrier. Id give it about 6 months.

I would give it even longer than 6 months. for Verizon to get Mobile 6 out.
Remember they have that delay for all new stuff till after it passes DOD compliance security testing. ( I just found that out recently)
Thats why Verizon always seems to get new
phones 1 year after all others have had them already.
