Picture Transfer?
So far a little miffed by this phone. It's ok, but the features and interface is going to take some getting used to.
Trying to figure out...
1) how to assign a picture to someone's name in the address book
2) assigning a blue tooth speakerphone
3) transfering pictures to a computer
Can someone inform me if it is possible?
Merry Christmas.

1) Go onto the contact press the funny lookin' button with the lines, edit- and go to bottom an you should see 'picture' just assign it from there
2) Connectivity- Bluetooth- HandsFree
3) Via bluetooth with a dongle or via USB cable like the one supplied with the phone
Hope this helps...
Merry Xmas

The #3 answer seems to have an issue still. The JPG files don't seem to want to transfer over. Can anyone provide specific instruction on transfering pics? Is some kind of SYNC needed for the PC to see the PICS on the removable drive? hmmm
-thanks

if you're transferring pics using the usb cable, you have to make sure you move those pics to the trans card from the phone mem. you aren't gonna see the pics if stored on the phone mem.
also, the pics take a few seconds to generate a preview on your pc, since the usb isn't 2.0
hope that helps.

goto pics on your phone. select a pic. hit the menu button (3rd button, next to itunes button). scroll down and select move. you should then see 2 options, trans or bluetooth. select trans.
hope that helps.

a better way to transfer pics to cpu is to move the pics to trans card. then take the card out buy the trans card memory flash, you can get from nextel or motorola. and then transfer the files. It is a million times faster.

Google search for PixResizer. Free, effective, used it for many pix myself for the ROKR and other phones (thanks to BT transfer... friend has the RAZR and doesn't want to screw around with software.... ROKR to the rescue! 😁 )
Remember, the ROKR's screen is 172x220.
