Which reception is BEST!? Nokia 6102 or Motorola 551

Is there a way to find out the reception strength of two phones? I need the best reception I can get in my phone, (which is poor at best currently with the Samsung 426).

I am considering the Motorola 551 or the Nokia 6102. Is there a way to know the technical reception ability of either phone before I buy? Thanks for any and all responses. 😳

I would think the Nokia 6102 would be much better because i own the Motorola v551 and its the biggest disappointment to the phone industry in my opinion. It has a full list of known problems, shutting down dropping calls pitiful battery life and the earpeice or microphone dying. I have the phone now and I'm waiting for the Nokia 6102 to come out so I can buy it and be done with Motorola for good.

Thanks, I have heard many mixed reviews on the Motorola v551. Seems like they love it or hate it.

I wish I knew where to find out how the reception on the Nokia 6102 is rated. Any ideas?

Yea I kno the V551 has mixed reviews personally I hate it but I dont know how the Nokia 6102 is based on other reviews of nokias and ones ive used it should be a very good phone but cingular gets all the cheap moto phones bc the entire v series is defective nobody should ever purchase on in my opinion but i have to wait until the 6102 comes out to make my finnal opinion but i hope this will help.

I handle the returns for a t-mobile store and we get way more motorolas returned than Nokias. It should be the opposite because until now Nokia have been feature poor and motorola feature rich.

Feature rich phones usually are less likely to be returned regardless of performance.

Ask any sales rep, motorolas are not as good receptionwise and at least on the T-Mobile end have had tons of factory recalls (v180, v600, v300) and if you had to do more then 2 warranty extanges you got a nokia 6600.
