Memory Stick Duo Problems
Hey there
I purchased a Sony duo 128mb stick recently to upgrade the the storage for my s710. I formatted the stick using the software provided with the phone, loaded in, and got a "Memory Stick Error". I also tried to copy and paste the data on my 32mb card onto the 128mb card but still get the error.
The product code is MSH-M128N.
Anyone know a solution? I didnt think I purchased the wrong card since it clearly says Memory Stick Duo Magicgate

I'm getting the same error message and I have the Memory Stick Duo Magicgate ending in A. It works on my PC and a Sony digital camera but not in the phone.

Responding to my original message. Took the Sony Memory Stick Duo purchased on Ebay to a Cingular store where it did not work on the phone there. Finally purchased the same card from a local camera store and the card works fine. Beware purchasing from techgoogle on Ebay. While their cards look the same, they are not.

i bought from techgoogle. the card doesn't work. afterlots of yelling and multiple managers, sony is sending me a card that will work.

also techgoogle just acknowledged that the card they sent me didn't work and are erfunding me. You have to get the MSH-M128 or the MSH-M128A. I just sold my phone but still have one of the ones that works (the A one) if someone wants it.
