everyone, tell me when you ordered and if/when it has shipped. i am debating ordering another and then seeing which ships first.

I ordered via the national telephone sales center at about 2:00 pm Pacific time on the 23rd. It shipped at 4:35 pm, presumably Central time, on the 23rd and according to FedEx is due to arrive before 3:00 pm Pacific time today (the 24th).

i just bought mine i had serivce i was going to use already.. i ordred mine on the 22nd at about noon and got it the 23rd at about noon..it said back ordered for about 6 hours then switched to shipped

I ported my old number to Cingular and ordered a plan when I purchased the phone, so that might have something to do with it.

Placed my order about 3pm *eastern* on the 21st...after about a day on "backorder" it shipped 5pm on the 22nd from TN, and is scheduled for delivery today.

I ordered to ship to Texas and my order was backordered. I then ordered to ship to TN and it was shipped out the same day (today) and should arrive tomorrow. I had a lot of trouble with my online order as it was cancelled twice, then duplicated. Telesales took about 1 hour to clear everything up.

I have ordered mine on the monday the 21 and i still dont have phone yet!! i order it thru an cingular agent store. when i order it the lady told me i would have it be wed or thursday but she called me on weds and told me the phones are on back order. does any of u have any idea when it will be in stock again!!@# because i been waiting on this phone for long long time

Wierd. You should call telesales and find out if they have it in stock. If so, order through them and cancel your other order.

I just called telesales and placed my order. The telesales lady said this phone was not backordered and I should get it in 3-5 buisness days.
Of course when she went to check the status of the phone, she asked me what state I was calling from(CA). I'm assuming availability depends on the region.

calm down fellas, i bought it with the pretense of returning the other, so my padre helped out. but now he wants one. GGGGGRRRRRRRRRR!!!!
he first just wanted to be able to talk, then he wanted like blackberry, then he wanted to bluetooth a connection, and now he decided he hates the v551 and is getting an S710!!!! he stole my phone!!!!
(ps. i worked during the summer bossing around kids my own age and older at a film camp and havnt spent any of the money from it. plus i sell caffeine at school for enormous profits 🙂)

I orderen mine on Tueday the 22nd and received it on Wednesday after paying $14.95 for overnight delivery. I've been playing with this phone non-stop. Had to recharge everynight because I've been draing the battery from playing with it.

my phone i ordered from Telesales on the 21st at 6:30am is still "backordered" even though i called and they had 180 in stock. i found a couple in town and grabbed one, just waiting for them to try to deliver the s710a so i can cancel it.
