razr? hurt sales?
by gode the designe it self hurts sales why hav a cutting looking phone. i call this model the anorexic v400. i mean this phone should hav a megapix - should capture video- should atleast hav a memory card slot. but it doesent- i htink some one in ther right mind were to see how much they would pay and what they got.this would be obvious. but rich buisnes people want this and will continue to buy this. just because of the looks.

Yeah, I know what you mean... I got to use one here in the store for a couple days in December. I like the way the phone looks, & I like the large screen. That's about it. I found that there was a bit of a clarity issue with the earpiece. Definately not something I'd ever consider spending $499.99 on. Maybe $149.99, but that's it.

I had this phone for a while before I quit my last job. I liked it. It was very stable, especially compared to other moto phones. Sure it doesn't have all the features, but it was very solidly built.
When you buy the razr, you're not buying features, it's kinda like buying an expensive suit. Cheaper suits may work just as well, and look nice, but its about being able to do it.

I totally agree with you. The razr is way overpriced and overated, it should be a $100 phone max. I dont think I would even buy it then.

It's still a good phone, just because it doesn't have some features you like doesn't make it a bad phone.
1. I was able to take quite a lot of pictures before getting close to filling memory
2. I don't need to play mp3s from my phone
3. Cell phones can't compete with a real camera, I personally would be happier if camera's in phones went away.
I like the s710 for 3 reasons.
1. Bluetooth
2. EDGE
3. It just looks cool.

Man if the phone companies went with your philosophy phones would plain suck! No radios in phones, no internet in phones, no cameras, no aim, no memory cards, no calculator, no alarm clock, no calender. I could go on for a while but no, I sure as hell dont want to go back to a startac. All the things above(and more) have been done better on other platforms, man we might as well not have cellular phones, cause the reception on home phones is better. We could all just carry satellite phones 😡
