there is talk of a $50 rebate, no release date yet, I won one in a recent contest through Sony and played with our reps'... it is sweet! East coast markets and internet will have it first, most likely the last week in Jan. (I work for Cingular)

If it makes you feel any better, I won the phone and they will probably send it to me after it launches for everyone else. My SE rep was in two days ago and said we should see it by the end of the month. For everyones' sake on this page, lets hope so. 🙂

I really want this phone and I am an ATT customer about to switch over to Cingular, but man after seeing this phone I am gonna wait til it comes out to switch. I love SE phones!
