where do you connect the usb do i cant find it for some reason

The v551 needs a special data cable. It does not use the mini usb hookups you see on digital cameras and whatnot.

You can buy the real cable from motorolas website or google for off brand cables.

oh i see the usb refers to the computer connection not the phone
