Can you only use voice dialing by using voice tags ? I thought you might be able to just say numbers like call 867-5309 I guess not and was hoping this was the case.

Damn that sucks that is what i thought I tired it does nothing. Does any phone have that I kinda like the nokia so far except for the hum from the speaker. I wanted digit dialing as well as voice otherwise you hae to have the phone with you to dial kinda defeats bluetooth.

Slugphone:

There is another alternative to the problem you're trying to solve. And it's fairly elegant.

Do you use a PDA? Does it have Blutooth?

I don't use this Nokia phone. But I've seen other s posting on the 6255i. They can dial by tapping a contact in their Palm BT PDAs. I'm sure you can also do this the 6256i.

I am still using a Sony Ericsson T608. I'm on the Sprint PCS network. I tap-dial my phone all the time from my Tungsten E2 PDA.

I think you'll agree if you use a PDA that this is easier than looking up a number and voice digit dialing it. 'Safer too, when you're in the car.

No i don't. I guess you can't just say numbers and have the phone dial that sucks and the voice tags are ok but not fantastic. I wanted it for numbers that weren't in my phone guess it can't do it.
