Verizon claims that RAZR doesn't have full OBEX but those who have bought claims they have been able to transfer files and stuff using bluetooth I just wish i knew the truth and someone would know what the hell they are talking about. Cause I just need a good phone will bluetooth I don't need an fm radio or any of that crap. And the razr sure looks much better than the nokia 6256i. But the Razr has some things I don't like like just like some things on the 6256i.

I figure that there are people with technical know-how who could indeed enable BlueTooth for file transfers and I bet a lot of people do this. At this point, though, I hesitate doing such a thing, but who knows what I might do if I leave VzW and go to Cingular.

I was really flustered last night when the rep at the VzW phone told me that I had already used up 113 minutes of the 450... and in just a couple of days. I realize that this comes from me experimenting with the phone, but it reminded me of my initial reason of wanting to go with Cingular: Roll-over minutes. -Lorna

Easy way ta get around that tho': Do most o' your experimentin' during nights and weekends, i.e. free time.

I really don' recommend goin' to Cingular, 'specially out here in California.. they're jus' not very good here overall. My brother has 'em, an' he can't wait for his contract to end so he can dump 'em an' go to Verizon. He uses his cell to keep in touch wit' his work, and his comment was somethin' like "I need a phone that works more than 90% of the time, dammit." ☚ī¸

Cingular is s'posedly pretty good in some parts o' the country tho', like Texas an' the Northeast.

My memory must be leaking out of my head. I actually had that thought last night after talking to the Verizon rep but immediately forgot about it until reading your suggestion. Thanks. I will do it after hours. 🙂
