I read the posts about the MP3 player being removed. I just bought my Nokia 6256i ylast night after and difficult decision between it the razr and several other phones like the moto 815. Well I read the manual and no mention of the MP3. Some little things swayed me to choose Nokia over either moto phone. First, I prefer Nokia, and like tri mode versus digital phones. Second, I often use my cell phone as an alarm when I travel and the nokia 6256i's alarm will work with the alarm off neither moto's will I tried them at the Verizon store. When I showed them that my old 3589 did that they were shocked.

I meant when the phone was off not the alarm was off.

the player is more like a media player as in you cant just skip to the next song ....you have to actually open the folder and pic the song...which is ok if you dont want to beable to FF or RW the song ...but it sounds pretty good i really like the fm radio more anyways

I cannot find this. I was told that the Nokia 6256i had expandable memory. I cannot find this. How would a person get the mp3 on the phone in the first place?

to get to your memory slot take off your battery and there is a silver door ...open that and it has a place for your mmc ....to get the songs you want on the card you have to download them onto your card from a computer then just go into your music files and you play them from there...
